This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Yo what's up we are now in Drummond at Rsr Bill and yes you know I just Returned the moxos Et90 and then um you know when I did the Test with um the by the Auto 3 that car Had lead bar and then it was replicating And then some people claimed that the Lead bar is causing the replicate Because it blocked the air vents well I Just do the extra mile the extra mile to Test it so you see this one does not Have any add-ons So the lead ball of us mounted roughly Here was the the linear laser six one There and one there blocking the airflow So now that we have original Auto three We should test it again so Um this is also a big thumbs up to uh LSR bill for providing me this car and With the the stuff I need specification Because I requested getting there there Is a body to fix this for me so um I Requested 40 battery it's 44 really good And also requested to have the car Parked indoors so we have 21 to 22 Degrees Celsius in the battery if it was Parked outside it will have roughly 10 Degrees in the battery so yeah what We're going to do now is drive it low we Will drive a distance Um past Sunday here somewhere and then
We see what happens All right we're on the move so yes we're Gonna head south first right and then Come into the map here Yeah my head sound a little bit and then Back North but man on the Comfort level Here is just so much better than the T90 I tried recently here we have Autos There we have cruise control even Adaptive cruise control Comfortable seats yeah the base Oh okay yeah the battery is slowly Heating up now maybe we need to yo-yo it A little bit also Because of this yo-yo thing I talk about What the heck is it well I'm gonna show You So it's a method to heat up the battery Especially if your car doesn't have a Preheating or even battery heat around Most cars I mean okay look here okay We're gonna floor it now oh Every time I floor it we get maximum Power output and by pulling lots of Current the battery will heat up because Of the internal resistance And then I noticed that with the Auto 3 Just a little bit of yoyoon actually Brings up the temperature quite a lot Obviously or let me get past this dude Okay so all you have to do is just floor It and then Regen Is it in Florida and then region And
Yeah after around 10 kilometers you can Bring up the temperature a lot So um yeah I'm not sure if this hurts The battery or if this hurts the Drivetrain probably not is we're not Hacking the quarantine we're just Driving Like uh an insecure teenager but look Look how fast the battery temperature Goes up And we are only pulling 150 kilowatt or How much is this 130 150 150 kilowatts And then region and only 40 kilowatt if I press the brake pad a little bit you See that we have branding break so yeah If you want to go really hardcore Uh yo-yo you want to do this And then press the brake gently to also Get the region the other direction and Now wow okay so um I think I want to Heat up the battery to around 35 degrees Celsius at least 34 degrees here in the Top because that's usually what the Battery temperature stabilizes at anyway When we are just cruising without Yoyoing All right we arrive at the main charge At least So we have uh 16 yeah I don't think I Need to go that deep I yoyo a little bit So you see we have uh 37 yeah 33 to 37 Degrees Celsius so this should be good Enough let's plug in and see what Happens
Right we get 70 what Other than that okay yeah there you go Yeah 85 kilowatt for the wind 200 amp All right and then the temperature here Should rise All right we reached 39 degrees Celsius And the max And then in small letters here on the Screen you see note the intelligent Temperature control system of power Battery is working Uh Is that Lost in Translation Power battery Intelligent temperature control system Okay but what it basically means is that The the active battery cooling is Working Right so now we wait and then the Temperature is rising 40 degrees if the Air bands were I mean the areas are not Blocked now so if there will be a Difference between this one and the one With lead bar then this session should Not overheat and we should never see 45 Degrees Celsius here right okay let's Wait a little bit and see when when did This uh kick in let me see her clock Okay so it happened at around 8 56 okay We will see how long it takes before the Cooling ramps up to full speed yeah Oh we hit 45 degrees Celsius the battery Is about to Rapid gate when it comes to
Cooling power Okay I feel like it's maybe cooling a little Bit faster but let me see it's been Eight minutes since the cooling started So it hasn't ramped up to crazy high Speeds yet Um maybe we have to wait for 46 degrees Which is the magic number Oh I'll go 46 degrees Celsius we're down To 50 kilowatt hour per hour all right So uh let's see then but it's been Roughly 10 minutes now since the Schooling started Uh wait it's not ramping up oh I forgot It's doing the pre uh pre-program ramp Up sequence for uh cooling so Yeah let's see now how long does it take Before the the battery cools down so it Can get this maximum speed again Oh it's been a while now and uh it's Still not out of Rapid gate Let me check outside So if you look at the thermal camera Where the wheels are hot Because we've been driving And then what's uh what's happening up Here Okay you can see that it appears to be Cooler Than other places maybe because yeah [Music] I bet the ambient temperature is around I don't know 15 degrees Celsius you see
The oven seems to be cooler because There's actually stuff moving around There the cable that is heating up Obviously where does it dump out the Heating well it might dump it out here On this side Usually it dumps the heat on one of the Wheel wells let me check out The rest of the car okay that one is hot Okay uh-huh What about on this side Sure Which side it does sit but okay still no Uh I mean let me check here I'm faster We're charging now Oh oh it finally went out the rapid gate Okay that didn't last too long we are Now at 46 degrees Celsius again and it's Gonna replicate one more time so um yeah Eventually it will throttle once we hit 65 degrees sorry 65 percent here So anytime now it will replicate usually When you see this one it takes ah okay There you go yeah we're down to 52 Kilowatt again so I think based on this We can conclude that the length bar in The grill did not really help I mean it Did not Um block the air vents or make the car Replicate it will rapidly get regardless But um I feel like the cooling speed or The cooling noise is not as high as the Other one with lead bar uh uh is that The queen a coincidence or maybe the car
Did I mean the intelligent temperature Control system sense that the airflow or The cooling rate on the in the lead bar Car was not high enough so it then it Needed to ramp up or step up the cooling But here It figures out that okay the cooling is As slow as expected so then we don't Have to go at the high speed I'm not Sure but I feel like we are not I mean you guys Can hear it maybe It can go at higher speeds but it's not Doing it so yeah it would be great to Get maximum cooling so we don't get this Rapid gate but You know maybe the car has not been Programmed to work like that Wow it's been a while now and this time The car cannot get out the rapid gate Even with a cooling active Okay Um because I remember doing the 1000 Kilometer challenge with the lead bar up To three Uh the the cooling rate will be higher And then it will at least go up and down I will alternate between 50 something Kilowatt and 80 kilowatt and then the The temperature here will go up to 46 Degrees and then it will you know this Goes slower and then it cools down to 44 Degrees and then we get 80 kilowatt for A little while but here it just stays Slow all the way
And during the 15 minute drive here you See that the battery cool down to 36 Degrees Celsius but I had HVAC on 21 Degrees so I bet the the AC unit was Also cooling The Battery Plus the cabin But um yeah the whole rapid gate thing You know we have a beer by the hand Right next to us the hunt also Replicates and that one did not have any Lead bar when I tested it so maybe this Is a byd thing I'm actually not sure About The tongue I tried maybe that one also Replicated I was assuming maybe Colgate But yeah maybe I should read to his Tongue but uh how interesting is it for My audience to retest a bunch of Chinese Cars Bonus material because we are not home Yet the trip ain't over yet so yeah I'm Sitting in Frankenstein oh I haven't Seen him in a while because the first I Borrowed the byd and then I borrowed the The maxus and yeah so yeah a thumbs up To Addison bill for uh charging up the Call for me the leaf It was funny yeah mod it uh you still Have to yeah we have we have full Charges supposedly it's 84 but that's You you it will stop charging the Battery is full yes modded she asked me Hey um when she shot the car it was a Bit weird because there was so low range Here like did it charge fully I'm like
