This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Yo what's up we are now at the studio in Gothenburg and behind me here you see Seeker X this is the what they call it The SUV I I'd say it's more like a Crossover because it's not that big but Okay so today we're going to do a little Interview of this one uh I cannot do any Baby seat stuff but at least we will Walk around the interior so let's start With the front it has a tiny Frank Well at least you could put your cables In here or can you I mean how big is This well I don't have any cables to Demonstrate right now but I can show you That yeah it's you can fit uh maybe a Small laptop or if you tidy up a type 2 Cable you can fit in here but that's Pretty much it and then here we have Washer fluid entrance that's a very nice Position and then everything else here Is hidden behind some panels see if I Can pop open something here okay Whatever let me leave it there let me See and then for closing I always struggle a little bit I think You're supposed to do it like this and Then just put some pressure with two Hands Yeah now it's closed When it comes to the door handles They look like this

I thought something was was abnormal or Or broken but now the car is unlocked so This is Unlike anything I've seen before because Normally the door door handles will pop Out right well why do they need to pop Out they could just pop in to see Now it's locked And then unlocking Presents the door handles yeah why not Wait and then how did it know that I was In here Hmm There must be some sensor there I'll Show something else when you lock the Car Since this has frameless windows Okay I noticed that when you unlock it Let's see They lower So let me try something Since the okay yeah here's the opening Uh by the way but if I lower it let's See now okay we can just lower it all The way Let's see what happens now Uh when it's close they cannot pull this One up to open it no so there must be Some kind of sensor here to figure out That I'm trying to open the door see This one doesn't work This one most there it works okay so but Okay it's different Okay if you hear any weird noise

It's the roof it's raining a lot Nowadays so sometimes it's pouring down But okay to open the the trunk there is This button here I was looking for the kick sensor Well actually it doesn't have kids Sensor let's try It's always interesting to test out Stuff you see I was also looking for Uh trailer hitch but at least this one Doesn't have it it's So you can search for any kick sensor But I don't think it has it In case it open there it is And then let's start measuring stuff With the laser can So we have a partial shelf that can be Taken out it's a hard type And then How deep is your trunk Okay about 75 centimeters the width of The trunk is roughly 100 centimeters the Height here is 65 centimeters and then Diagonally you have an opening of Roughly 88 centimeters so it's not that Big but given the size of the car here But then what about if you open up here This one seems to be hinged so it's not Easy to remove it but at least there's Some space under here but let me measure Something else before we proceed what About the loading height Oh 70 About 79 centimeters that's some of the

Highest one and then here we cannot Lower the suspension and things like That So here we have some hooks securing Cargo in all four corners and there is No trouble Outlet here there's a light There that's pretty much it and then on The lid here you see you have some space For Cables or more cargo but uh Yeah you can't you can't take you can't Remove it I'm thinking what if I want to Remove this so I can fit a bigger baby Stroller and that's going to be slightly Hard And now we fold the seat and we get Almost flat floor so that's good let me Measure the length here we have 164 Centimeters Under the length here this passenger Seat has been pushed all the way forward And also tilted all the way forward for The maximum space then we have 185 Centimeters and diagonally If you need to carry something big from Ikea then we have 206 centimeters Okay let's check the width of the seat Here we have roughly all 128 centimeters so not the widest seat What about the height here This is a crossover we should have good Height right actually not that great With the carpet pokes out a little bit But I should also include the carpet of

Course it's only around 29 centimeters You can probably see it I'm sitting with My knees slightly pointed upwards Uh not the best seating position I was about to say no pocket behind the Seat but there is actually a pocket but It's like this diagonally interesting Never seen that one before okay and here We have one USBC One USB a Um no events here but you have events Here Yeah that's good Okay you can adjust the belt you have a Little coat hook there this is for Securing cargo here we have light but no Handle we have a handle there in some Kind of leather ish and then we have This nice pouch here for putting your Sunglasses is it magnet oh yeah oh nice Which is Glass roof wait How good is the Headroom then Um does the glass rib extend all the way To my head almost I sit somewhat upright ish but when it Comes to space yeah let me see if I'm Taller I will be poking a little bit Towards the the corner here so yeah we Have a okay Headroom here and then what About the middle seat Still decent here yes And then the jewelry here we have this I Like this Some cars you have to dig out the the

Center console So we have an armrest with a cup holder But no table anything like that and also No ski opening And this is interesting because the door Is like this Uh you might be thinking this is the Door opener no this is for the window So when you close the door And you want to open it you have to go All the way there That's a weird position I would like to Have that button closer here you know Like in the Tesla you will have it in Thumb range here Like this okay wait I'm also looking for Usually if cars are equipped with this Kind of button instead of a handle they Would normally be an emergency release But here I don't know where the heck oh I can find it you see okay let me show You there was an emergency release under Here so Yeah we can test it once maybe I think It's not supposed to be used for normal Because I think if you use the emergency Release it might not lower the windows We're going to lower the window Manually before we use the emergency Release Yeah okay there we go And then the front seat you have Electric adjustable seats You go up and down all that and then

It's saved in the screen and not in the Button here so that's great because what They call a driving habit but you can Have several positions stored in here And then this one here is just lumbar Support so there's no uh support you can Pull out here with people with long legs And then when it comes to steering wheel It's just like this goes up and down in And out and let me check sunilizer We'll rotate but it will not extend You know Seeker 001 is made more for Long distance trips whereas the secret X Is made for more urban drive and then They told me that they have designed the Center console differently on the Seeker X versus the Seeker coco1 so here they Purposely made it low like this so in Case you cannot leave the car here Because you park tight you can and you Can exit we are here so we have to test That How easy is it okay now this thing was In the way Take it all the way up Can I put my my fat ass and my hips oh Yes I could leave it yeah so it is Approved And the ckrx has a cool feature if you Go here Wait let me see there wait for the lag Okay and then you go to acoustic vehicle Alerting system And then now we can we have different

The whole possibilities but we can speak To outside it only work when you're part Yo what you saw and then you have only Your voice voice you can switch it over Come with me if you want to leave What's up You have this car man oh yeah Holy crap you're gonna have so much fun Too bad you cannot use this while we are Driving because then I will put into the Deep voice then get out to the left lane And then okay you can also Okay you can also channel the radio or Whatever you were listening to out there But I'm not sure if the okay uh Okay yeah certainly there's a music Playing there okay and then let me see If this works Okay it was a little bit glitchy when I I got it demonstrated so it seems like It's not working properly right now you Have to do some weird stuff I think Actually you have to channel this one Out first and then you click here Uh no okay I'm not sure how the heck it Was slightly glitchy but at least the Features there it's just the best Speaker that is playing some stuff so You could then play the radio at the Beach for example uh it's not the best Sound I would probably open the windows Instead so we get the subway for Everything going inside the door looks Like this

It's quite clean somewhat sparse Interior even this one doesn't have any Labels or anything like that And then same here you see we're gonna You close it but then in order to open I Think you're supposed to do it like this Oh maybe that was also the point With the other one but what was again You know that Dutch wait now I'm in the Park in the okay You know the Dutch opening the Dutch way Opening because in Netherlands you have So many bicyclists so what you want to Do is you want to You want to open but then also look Behind you in case of bicyclist I'm not Sure if you can practice that type of Opening but okay whatever and then here There's some Light here ambient light And then here we have a nice big pocket And just like behind in the back we also Have the the emergency release there And then here we have the same uh how They call this it like electronically Adjusted air vents you see there's no Visible air vents you can adjust Manually so you just do that inside here Let me close the door a bit So Just like in the Tesla Model 3 it was I Mentioned model 3 because that's where It appeared the first time in the car Industry yeah okay I have to go out to

Auto and then I have to put it on wait No no it's supposed to be this one See you can adjust it like this you can Also go wider or I'm not sure but Yeah you can adjust it I'm just going to Leave it on auto And then here we have something cool Okay we have the seat stuff here the Seat adjustment is done here but in the Seat Comfort here I noticed something When you have you have seat heaters But there's also some kind of but Okay It shakes You could almost can I do it on this Side so you can so you can Maybe maybe you can catch it on camera Have it on the strongest one Oh what the heck sorry the screen was Adjusted for I mean the camera was Whoa It shakes the whole camera almost it has This significant Shake here that I never Experienced in all the cars before but It doesn't have the typical massage it Seems to have a vibrator in here but not The the massage that pokes in different Places But infotainment I like it you see we Have a common more and more common Across car industry now that we have Most used stuff down here HVAC and Seed Stuff right defroster at the bottom

Along with sound and whatever and then We have since we have a big screen you Can then organize stuff in in this very Easy to understand menu Again just like a Tesla or well actually Not only Tesla is doing this but also Neo has something similar this is way Better than the like a like a bunch of Icons smacked together and then you Click somewhere and then go into Different layers so that's super clumsy This one is so nice I think there's also Sweep down uh wait maybe it was a sweep Down Okay maybe one of this I just couldn't Yeah you have a sweep down you can also Customize this so really nice man okay On the way back to the car so this one You see it has the ID3 style instrument Cluster it follows The steering wheel But we also have a head-up display huh And then we have these buttons here for Various tasks All right and then let me see what else Yeah yeah so you see the center console Here Let me see if you can see it look at That 27 watt USBC 60 watt USBC whoa that Must be one of the most powerful USBC I've seen in on a car you can charge a Laptop with that thing you just have to Have a powerful enough cable and then This one here

I thought oh it's the 12 out of the no It's just some kind of coat hanger thing We have space here for some cargo this One they left it open because you can Climb out of here supposedly we have one Cup holder here you can take this one Out for more storage uh we have fairly Big storage here you can close this one If you like Um but the interior is a little bit Sparse I think this one is supposed to Be for your phone yeah wait where did I Leave my phone left outside but um I was Looking for the Travel Outlet it turns Out you have to There the 12 volt Outlet is there But okay let me check more important Stuff which is the Headroom Over a fist of Headroom plenty of Headroom Yeah I'm 173 centimeters can we adjust The This one uh I'm not sure I was trying to touch and Find out doesn't seem like it seems to Be fixed but then here yeah I gotta get A feel of the seats They seem to be uh they give good good Side support without being too sporty Bucket seats but also not too wide or Loose like American seats so they give At least for me perfect position perfect Also perfect softness versus firmness Yeah nice and they are wait are they

Ventilated let me check Yeah of course Um you have ventilation But then only on this side not on that Side Three different levels can we ventilate While we're heating no okay I think only Mercedes and a few cars can do that Now you see here how do you open the Glove box well it must be a Tesla style Right so I was looking here uh on the Maybe doors and windows or something Maybe in the pull down menu well I asked The guys over there Turns out this car has no glove box Okay if it has no glove box where you're Supposed to put you know in Norway we Have one Court we have the the Registration and stuff and whatever Other stuff that you should have in the Car all the time Um where do you put this uh can you put It here no that's too small can you put It here uh no can you put it here no Um okay I guess you have to put it in The trunk Maybe Okay there you guys have it the secret X It has some cool features for uh medium Priced car but also seems to lack some Basic other features so what do you guys Think of this one Seeker X do you like It for me I'm like okay I will let the People decide so anyway I think that's Gonna be it for now I hope you guys

Enjoyed this video as always thank you For watching and talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power

Make the Grid More Resilient With Electric Vehicles (EVs)

EVs offer a smoother ride and lower maintenance costs than traditional cars. They also emit far fewer GHGs. Currently, a typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of CO2 per year, while an EV produces no carbon dioxide at all.

A number of major automakers are accelerating their EV production. Several have already made a commitment to produce only electric vehicles. General Motors, for example, has a full lineup of EVs coming by 2035. And Honda–which sells popular CR-V and Accord hybrids–has been dabbling in electric cars for decades.

As the electric vehicle market expands, a wide range of national and state programs are stepping up to support EV sales and charging infrastructure. But it’s important to keep in mind that these programs can’t do the heavy lifting alone.

The EV community needs to do its part as well. One way to do that is by advocating for bidirectional vehicle-grid integration. SH: EV drivers can help make the grid more resilient by using their vehicles to export power to the grid at times when the grid is under stress, such as during a heat wave or during an ice storm. It’s also useful during outages to provide backup power at home or in a public safety shelter until the electricity comes back on.

NRDC and a broad coalition of environmental organizations, including GreenLatinos, Hip Hop Caucus, Sierra Club, the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, and Clean Energy for All, are launching a campaign to stretch federal funding for EV-charging stations by leveraging complementary state, utility, and private investments and policies that speed up the energization of charging stations for EVs, trucks, buses, and motorcycles.
