Good morning we just check out from the Hotel now here in new monster and we're Gonna head back home so we are actually Just around 1 000 kilometers and I'm From Oslo we are the land route so this Is the real 1000 kilometer challenge Except for that I don't want to stress So yes Um that's total they were they didn't Have more spots parking spots available So they instructed me to park in the Back here instead so at least that's Good that they they took care of that so And don't have to come here for a night Without parking spots so yeah Let me see The Kia ev6 GT has been parked here Yeah it's not the big hotel but wow nice But look at here oh yeah here it is Hopefully it's not too hot in there We have lots of insects Oh okay let's get in So yesterday I charge to a little bit Over 80 percent it was going quite fast This car just blistering first so I'm Not sure how far I want to drive but uh It's almost 11 and I skipped breakfast Because I'll probably try sleep so maybe I'll go there I'm not sure I'll just get A feel uh that's only 56 kilometers away That's a supercharger booster but they Have food there yeah Because that's the last last checkpoint Before going back to Denmark so you want

Quite quick but I think you have around 360 kilowatts only but here yeah you can Say yeah okay the the ev6 GT uh well it Has some suspension upgrades also uh Such not only the power upgrade but but You you saw during the trip now that you Don't always get that uh I mean it's not Like guaranteed that you always get the 585 horsepower you have to have the Battery in hot enough condition not too Hot uh not too low standard charge so Yeah you can utilize the maximum power Uh for a couple of seconds before it Drops so so yeah so in a way Um it seems like the battery is the Limitation there so if you just go for Um the regular one the non-gt uh that's Probably better performance better bang For the bucks but this one also doesn't Go wrong yeah And now We're dealing with The Deutsche electric the Deutsche left Lane Huggers Club At least the the German left lane Huggers they cruise at 120 130 Kilometers per hour whereas the Norwegian left lane Huggers they they Cruise at 100 yeah but I have to try to Get past these guys uh of course they're Not going to let me pass I will not use Any flushing no blinkers I would just Politely uh stay behind until they give Me uh a way for uh okay or maybe not and

Well you can see here we have Almost 73 kilowatt hour right so let me Show you you don't have to be a ninja to Figure out this so what you do is that You take 73 okay let's say 72 kilowatt Hour Divided by the distance 256 kilometer Oh sorry And then you see that you can average Around 280 watt hour per kilometer with A small margin so yeah 280 kilometers is Our 280 watt hour with some Tailwind but Some rain let's see if we can make it There because alternatively if I can't Make it there I have the stock oh no no If I can't make it there I had to stop Uh over here at new but which is a bit Too early so we have ionity there Federalism Back on the road and we are stuck behind The Danish left lane Huggers yeah this Is actually the reality I've been Traveling through Denmark for the last 10 years every year and this is always The case in the daytime yeah so um but Yeah you know a nice bonus is that for For efficiency If you're charged to maybe 90 or even Higher like hair you see Um if we would charge to 80 and unplug This one would be at 50 52 degrees Celsius and once the cars start driving It needs to cool down

Electric vehicles make the most sense in the kind of urban traffic where they excel. They’re quiet and use minimal power while slowing down or stopping, and their near-silent running makes them more relaxing than noisy, smog-producing combustion engines.
As more of them replace traditional cars in the cities, they’ll reduce local air pollution as well. But the environmental impact of EVs can also vary, depending on where you live and the source of electricity. That’s why Earthjustice attorneys are working to bring 100% clean energy to every state.
The Honda E is a great example. It has a 50:50 weight distribution and an RWD layout that helps it achieve a taxi-spec turning circle. It’s nimble enough to pull implausible U-turns and nip through the smallest parking spaces. Its battery capacity is small, but owners will be able to charge up to 80% of its range in just 30 minutes at a public DC fast charger.
Even without a charging station, most EVs can manage day-to-day driving on a single charge, provided they have off-street parking and home charging access. One innovative EV start-up in China, Nio, is even testing battery swapping stations that can replace your depleted battery with a fully charged one in just five minutes.
And most EVs will warn you before they run out of juice, so you’ll be able to pull over safely. Plus, many roadside assistance services (including those offered by automakers and insurers) cover EVs, or will at least tow you to a charging station.
