Use car scanner car scan reports I'm not Sure if we can trust this but here So it it counts how many kilowatt hour You have discharged so you're gonna use This one and try to figure out what the Consumption is and also what the range Is and if you can get 83 kilowatt hour From this battery not so yeah I'll the The car is kind of clumsy it's Completely different than other cars but We'll see if we can still figure out the Consumption and everything so all right First thing I need to do is to let me See I'm going to show you the map that We go ahead no home home go to Navigation I've already checked Beforehand now unlike the mg trip where I wasn't prepared but I have to drop Travel at night you see at night now This is the only time I have time to do The range test Also earlier today it was Raining around here so I don't want to Drive when there's two wets uh if I can Choose I'll try and dry road so we can Compare it against other cars but I've Checked beforehand that a starting is Very best and they have some maintenance Here so it's slow so if you go to doll Which is over here and we try to do 120 Tests will be slowed down here and also Also some more slow down here at uh espa And further Beyond you can even see that Colors changing so what we need to do is Go to Minnesota and then we do a loop

Always be copying We're back at a starting point and yeah Let me see so this one here reports 230 Watt hour kilometer for the last 50 Kilometer the test rate was 52.4 Kilometer and then based on the start Number we had Um uh uh 3206 kilowatt hour before the Test I mean and now it's yeah so we Spent 13 kilowatt hour and then if you Take 13 kilowatt hour divided by this Distance you get uh 240 well how much was that again yeah I Don't remember but you also have to Count I know from 1 000 kilometers this Car under report Distance by 1.2 percent So you're correct for that and it Becomes 245 what a kilometer that is Plausible for a car like this but this One seems to be off I'm not sure which One we should trust but when I did the Range test would be about the tank I use This number I had to count every 50 Kilometers it was kind of clumsy back Then I didn't have this or I mean or you Could say that the car scanner was Didn't have a profile for a byd time or Byd at all but now we have something Here But okay Um I guess we'll just um keep testing Now it will be the 90 test and also the Problem is that since we don't have any Decimals here then we have some um it's
Not that accurate so I think for the 90 Test I will go a longer distance because Okay when you have higher consumption You get more numbers there and because We have high speed and then even a not So long distance we get some good Numbers but for the low speed test The consumption will be lower so that's Why it would be less accurate so that's Why we have to go a longer distance All right really clumsy way to measure Everything here but we'll just keep Going now Huh you know interesting now they've Recruiting at 90 kilometers per hour Well actually GPS speed wise I have to alternate Between around 87 and 92 93 kilometers What the heck man Yeah I have to go up and down like that But Auto stairs working a lot better now When we go slow That was the same case for uh For the mg4 Chinese car similar Behavior Okay but this car is equipped with doing All your speakers Let's test how good This one is [Music] Oh Oh nice yeah I like the base Deep and round base [Music] Good details Oh yeah

This one again Um what the car reports here it's 174 Watt hour the last 50 kilometer okay but It was more or less the same so um I'm Not sure if you can trust this But I'm also not sure if you can trust What they really see here so okay but The last part now is to drive it down to Almost zero and let me see how many Kilowatt hour did we actually get out of The battery total yeah all right but I Think before that I want to get some Food at Circle K this one is supposed to Be open 24 7. and it's 2 14 at night now [Music] Okay it's 2 36 at night now and it Starts getting bright outside So yeah we have to drive on this slow Stretch here uh the other side there and They actually slapped down some new and Fresh ass fall oh it's about time Because this stretch has somewhat worn Out asphalt so Right and they closed that whole stretch For the night and they have to Scrape off the old one and Lay new asphalt during night so Yeah but those workers I think they Actually make some nice money because They have to work at night and then when They work at night you get double Payment from what I remember plus maybe Some other goodies also other additions So yeah

Can show you here I use Easy My charging apps we can look at easy Eventually tomorrow tomorrow How many kilowatt hour we have spent Here I think look here and see that we Are charting at the 24 amp roughly Single phase Okay now we wait We finished charging and man the numbers Here they don't make any sense at all so Um the easy joining station reported 94.3 kilowatt hour I think we can trust That number now the big unknown is how Much is the charting loss because when You look at the the accumulated charge Energy based on yesterday versus today We added 82 kilowatt hour but we Discharge 89 kilowatt hour it doesn't Make any sense And then when it comes to okay Charlie Laws how much charting laws should we Have I tested in a Tesla it should be Something like seven eight percent given That we charge at 5.5 to 6 kilowatt now When you charge really slow let's say Only two kilowatt on shuko you will have More overhead because maybe the BMS is Awake for longer versus how much power You put in but here it should be low it Shouldn't be that high but if you take 82 kilowatt hour that was supported into The battery versus what the EC box Reported that that's a whopping 13 loss It can't be that high there's something
Wrong here with some of the numbers ah Yes I know that the numbers that the Cars kind of reports from time to time They are a little bit incorrect I've Seen it in the m b cars and also in the Korean cars that car scanner I don't Know where it gets their number from it Claims for example that we have only 73 Kilowatt hour but by the end of the day When we actually drive the car we get 75 Kilowatt hour after the battery so That's why we have to look at these Numbers that car is going to report at Least with a pinch of salt I think but If we say Okay best guess from the EC Box we have 10 loss somewhere here and That means 85 kilowatt hour and then I I Know about 85 kilowatt hour just Happened to be by coincidence the Average from between the the discharge And the charging also So it basically five kilowatt hour I Worked at what the consumption is And it turns out to not be that bad it Wasn't the best weather yesterday it was Semi it was starting to get a little bit Cold Uh and yeah I think it still has decent Efficiency it's not that thirsty but Okay not efficient and maybe some of the Most efficient ones but still uh pretty Decent and also because the battery is Fairly large then you also get good Range so yeah it's actually quite
Impressive overall I think the car looks Stunning it rides really well it has Good well some people say it's a little Bit bouncy okay I agree it has a little Bit of both the right similar to him I Said this eqs But nothing I would be like annoyed by I I don't feel like it has a cheap ride at Least so I feel that with a byd Tang or Maybe mg status EV it feels a bit weird Bouncy like that but this one has a Gentler you have to somehow kind of Soften out the bumps and that's what This one is all about uh and then Soundproofing also pretty good but I Didn't bother doing the noise test Because I've seen like people don't care Too much about it but overall I have to Say that I like the interior I like the Feel driving feel it feels like a a nice Chinese premium car but the biggest Minus here is the software some of the Weird quirks like we struggling to find Out how much the car is consuming uh the Auto stair is a little bit bad and that It also tends to rapidgate so it doesn't Charge as fast as it could be so yeah But overall I think is it worth the the 600k for this car yes I think it's worth The price but if you want something Better you also usually have to pay more You know if you want egress or Tesla or Something you don't have to pay more so With this car yes you get what you pay

Ford offers multiple hybrid and all-electric vehicle models that are designed to be sustainable and cost-effective for customers. They include the Fusion Energi, Focus Electric, C-Max Hybrid and EcoBoost®. They also manufacture the E-Transit commercial cargo van, which is all-electric.
A new way to charge
While EVs can be charged at home, the fastest and most efficient charging is done at public stations, called Level 2 chargers. The charger converts AC current from the utility into DC power, which the onboard converter then uses to recharge the battery. Depending on the model, a single charge can provide up to 200 miles of driving range.
For customers who don’t have access to a home charger, there are dozens of EV charging stations in New York City. The city is partnering with Con Edison to install 120 Level 2 charging ports at curbside locations, and NYC DOT is working to expand this network to other parts of the city.
