Electric vehicles were featured at the Detroit Auto Show this year. Vice President Joe Biden drove a Cadillac Lyriq electric SUV while visiting the auto show. The show isn’t without glitz, however. Jeep, Ram, and Ford will have displays that drive over steep hills. In addition to driving the EVs, customers will have the opportunity to ride in a truck and even ride the Ford F-150 Lightning pickup. Ford has also announced that it will produce half of its global production as electric by 2030.

Biden approves $900 million in grants for EV charging stations in 35 states

The Biden administration has approved $900 million in grants for electric vehicle charging networks in 35 states and Puerto Rico. These funds will help build a network of fast charging stations throughout the country. These networks will be essential to increasing EV adoption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Biden announced the funding during his visit to the Detroit auto show on Wednesday. During his speech, he praised his pro-EV agenda and announced the first $900 million in federal infrastructure funding to build electric vehicle charging stations throughout 35 states. This funding comes from the $1 trillion infrastructure bill passed by Congress in November. Biden said he hopes to build more than half a million charging stations across the U.S. by 2030.

The announcement comes as a welcome development for EV owners in rural areas. Since EVs make up less than one percent of all vehicles in Wyoming, the government can help push the electric vehicle transition. The biden administration’s transportation team is already laying plans for charging stations every 50 miles and even providing roadside service for those who don’t have electricity. However, it’s important to note that these plans are far from fully realized.

Ford Mustang unveiled at Detroit Auto Show

Ford has a long history of producing muscle cars and is continuing the tradition with the new Mustang, which was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The automaker announced several new models and trim levels of the car, including a 500-horsepower Dark Horse edition. The new Mustang will also have several racing variants. Ford Chairman Bill Ford announced plans to enter the car into the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Production of the new Mustang will start in the coming months at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant. However, it won’t be available on the road until next summer. However, it will be on display at NAIAS, and we will be able to see it firsthand before then.

The Ford Mustang unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show will be the seventh generation of the iconic vehicle. The show will be the first global unveiling of the seventh-generation Mustang. The event, called The Stampede, will be broadcast live on Ford’s social media channels. The seventh-generation Mustang is expected to be the last gas-powered Mustang; the company plans to launch a battery-electric version sometime in the next decade. The company has already built a version of the Mustang Mach-E CUV.

Chevrolet Equinox to be made in Mexico

The Chevrolet Equinox is a mid-sized SUV with a curvy exterior and excellent performance and handling. It is currently made in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada, and at other GM factories around the world. Its production also includes a plant in Hubei, China, which manufactures Equinox models for the international market. In addition, the car is designed and developed at the GM Design Center in Warren, Michigan.

The company plans to manufacture the Equinox in Mexico for at least the next four years. The new factory will be in Ramos Arizpe, in the state of Coahuila. The plant is already home to 3,000 employees and will employ an additional 1,300 people. The new plant is expected to begin operating in June 2021.

Ford plans to make half of its global production electric by 2030

Ford is working to make half of its global production electric by the year 2030. This ambitious goal is a major move towards electric mobility. The company plans to develop a new rear-drive, all-wheel-drive electric vehicle architecture, and plans to build an electric version of its popular F-150 pickup truck and Explorer SUV. By 2030, Ford expects to sell more than a million electric vehicles globally.

Ford is working to develop an entirely new battery cell chemistry to power its electric vehicles. The company expects battery costs to be lower than $100 by the middle of this decade, and by the end of this decade, battery costs will be around $80. This investment will help Ford fight off electric-truck startups that aim to undercut the company’s pickup market dominance. As part of the move, Ford will expand its use of lithium iron phosphate batteries, which will result in a reduction in battery pack costs by 10 to 15 percent.

General Motors’ decision to not showcase its electric SUV at Detroit Auto Show

General Motors’ decision to not showcase its all-electric SUV at the Detroit Auto Show was a significant blow to the auto industry. But the automaker is not the only one working on an all-electric vehicle. Nissan and Hyundai have also shown off their electric concept vehicles. Both automakers have plans to introduce fully electric vehicles in the future.

Trump has a history of attacking the auto industry, and his Twitter feed has been filled with his criticism of automakers and auto suppliers. In particular, he has attacked automakers that manufacture cars in Mexico and Canada. Moreover, he has also criticized the North American Free Trade Agreement, which aims to bring cars from different countries to the U.S.
