This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Okay while we are waiting for the car to Charge we can check it out here and uh Let's see if we switch to this time okay This one is not too interesting here so Voltage histogram you see that we have Most of them are located here but then We have 3.5 3.6 volts and then we have a very Few With 3.75 and then you switch over here you See that um most of them are spread oh man okay I can't I have to be Careful about how I point here see most Of them are spread out around here right But then look at this one what the heck Is that thing that one is a lot higher Than the other one well that was the Module that we replaced uh one one let Me see how it is again one module on This of two cells So they are slightly in better shape Than the other ones so ideally we need To replace all of these then we get Better capacity but at least before we Replace that module they were weak cells So yeah and then I'm not sure what's up With the one up there Hmm claims all cells are okay But then quite High Delta now 207 Millivolts Delta between Min and

Imbalance yeah that's what it is And then we're back here again so um Maybe you can try again now see if the Contact will close or not okay Let me see this time Oh wait Nine What the heck do we have to do we have Let me show you here We have 1.1 kilowatt hour now seven Percent huh How much do we need to charge this to Unbreak it Ah okay let's plug it in again Okay let's try something here Title waiting What if I try to push the car forward Shift to okay let me see does it have Any safety feet Wait Can I push it forward like this some Cars but wait it's freaking heavy man Come on Unfortunately you don't have to be Buckled up oh I can push it I can push It come on we need to push it over to The charges oh yeah oh yeah Oh yeah Come on Frankenstein go for it We just have to push it I have to build A momentum Fortunately it's fairly flat there Come on Oh oh oh there's an

Uphill Oh Let's try Okay I have a fairly long here but let's See Can we make it to reach over to the car Oh oh oh Yes Yes this is going to be a lot faster See And Freddie Oh yeah now I have to get the batteries Oh yeah now we're getting 3.2 kilowatts Because we're pulling 16 amp from the Socket rather than just 10 amp okay Now we just have to sit and wait and see How many percent do we need to unbreak The car Okay now we have 15 2.1 kilowatt hour we charge on this one For 18 minutes and if you look here Uh the imbalance was over 200 millivolts Earlier now it's only 64 millivolt and You see it looks better now the all the Cells they are fairly even so hopefully When we disconnect now we can move the Car Okay let's see now Oh That sound oh wait wait wait Yes we can move we can find the move Oh wait wait let me secret okay we've Had to get over to the fast charger Yes it's working it's working

Frankenstein is alive Oh I can't see but that's fine okay Okay let's get over here come on So we need we need to put around two Kilowatt hour 15 roughly I'm not sure 10 15 then you unbreak the car okay uh I'm Not sure how far I should drive but uh Let's get over to the DC fast Chargers Over here I don't have to fire up the HVAC yetmancy uh here it is yeah okay I'll just plug it in okay Wait maybe I should align it to the Others I know whatever let's just do it Like this oh it's fine okay okay Oh yeah try them all for the win Okay how many kilowatts are you getting 37 What What the heck happened there Huh wait what what It started charging And then what Law communication Pro what the heck is This man Okay round two Fight 20 kilowatt 35 36 wait is this one limited to 100 amp Wait wasn't it like last time Maybe I should change charger try some Of those instead I can still move right Well let's try to move okay but this is Churning now Okay let's say different charger oh yeah

Now we're cooking At least 107 uh Um 160 100 600 But still not 125 or 20 amp I'm not sure Why you know these uh this is eversec The other one was ABB there I don't know it seems like maybe some Power modules are out or some so But uh Okay 41 kilowatt I'll take it Okay let's summarize the test now so how Well did the leaf do it okay we could Drive pretty far around 90 kilometers in A pretty old car and also this was quite Shitty I mean it was really good back Then but nowadays it's quite shitty yeah But for the price still okay I mean we Have navigation we have uh you know lots Of space so compared to the triplets It's pretty good but okay for for the Range test yeah all right it's legit and Then what about the zero mile test it's Like a combined test now Um well I didn't try to explore how much Power we had left but it seems like you Need Leaf spy because if you don't have These pie then suddenly you see you see Dash that Dash and that's when you have To bail out maybe you should bail out Then anyway but you can actually go kind Of deep but it didn't go out down to Zero percent but then what I didn't like Was that uh there was no final warning

Okay you felt that you had Turtle mode Okay and I think once you see I mean Once you see the throttle mode and once You feel that you are crawling with 10 Kilowatt then you should really bail out But just that final warning was not There that was a small minus but also Big minus was that once you start Charging it It will stay brick for a long time so if In case you have shuku somewhere in Emergency you might have to charge for A little bit over an hour maybe until You can start driving that's a big Bummer because maybe you need to just Charge I mean maybe you just need to Drive 500 meters which uh corresponds to Roughly 15 20 minutes only but yeah you Are stuck there until you unbrick the Cars that was a bit minus but on that The car performs uh okay so I think That's going to be it for now I hope you Guys enjoy this video as always thank You for watching and talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power

Electric City Vehicles

Electric vehicles (EVs) use an onboard converter to convert AC power into DC power. The electricity can come from the electrical grid, or it can be generated by an EV’s battery, flywheel, supercapacitor, or other system. EVs generate significantly less pollution than traditional gasoline-powered cars.

Some governments offer incentives to encourage people to purchase and drive EVs. These can include discounts on the vehicle, reduced or eliminated taxes, free charging stations and more.

Tesla is making high-performance EVs that are changing the way people think about what a car can be. The company has been credited with creating a market for EVs, and it also helped push other automakers to get serious about the technology.

Ford is introducing new smaller EV-only models in North America, Europe, and China, while Toyota, VW, and Stellantis are developing new plug-in hybrids. GM, which owns the Buick, Cadillac, and Chevrolet brands, has been working on EVs since the late 1990s with its EV1 and the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid. The company is also partnering with start-up Rivian to make its own line of electric SUVs and trucks.

Zero-emissions EVs are powered by the electric grid, which helps them reduce their environmental impact and provide a range comparable to that of gas-powered cars. EVs can be charged at home by plugging into the same 120-volt outlets used for household appliances or clothes dryers (Level 1 charging). NYC is building a network of DC fast chargers to allow drivers to travel long distances while their car charges.
