That cost two times more on this yeah This thing is just let me just slow down A little bit The thing just Goes like a rocket oh Damn When we speak about price you you can Get this one with bus 100 kilowatt hour Bus you know the bus is battery as a Service you rent the battery It will set you back in Norway it will Cost you 680k I'm even the long one Sport mode I'm just riding over these Shitty roads around Orlando and it still Goes well yeah my spine is still intact But the thing about this with bus you Pay 680k for this car And then you have to rent yeah and then You have to pay 2 000 Nook per month for Bot for bus for renting but then you get Access to the battery swap they're not That money yet but with bus you also get 200 kilowatt hour you can charge on many Places for example for them or recharge They are freaking expensive 8.5 Nook per Kilowatt hour but with boss if you only Charge on foot them Uh it's actually worth 1 700 nuke of Charging per month that you get for free Including the bus or you can battery Swap twice But even if you run out the bus credits And your battery swap it will cost you 99 Nook per Swap and then it will cost

I think I need to have a dedicated video When it when it comes to battery store Because swap is nice but I feel like in Europe It might not be that useful because I Have now first-hand experience with Several battery swap Long trips in the 1000 kilometer Challenge and they are they become a Little bit Cumbersome or painful because in order To utilize the battery stop to the Fullest you need to drive far enough Drive the battery low and then you swap You can't you should do that also if You're an owner because you get two Batteries or per month for free and so That means you don't have to pay the Battery swap fee whether it's 99 note Right so but that means that if you swap Several times do you use up those three Swaps and then you have to start paying A swap fee Believe me that you want to Drive until the battery is low before You do your swap And then when you swap it It takes around five to seven minutes it Seems like they speed up the swap a Little bit so it takes maybe uh let's Say five to seven minutes but then you Have 90 battery and you are actually Good to go and you cannot leave the car While you're swapping

So Suddenly uh the whole advantage of Budget soap is kind of gone because then You should drive for let's say three Four hours and then you swap and then You should drive for another To three hours because then you get 90 Battery And then you can go to the restroom or You don't have to do that you can of Course battery swap for five to seven Minutes and then you go to the restroom And go somewhere else right uh and then You could just and what meanwhile the Car is just parked but that means that You might spend 15 to 20 minutes at that Swap station area or the gas station or Whatever And during 20 minutes with normal with Modern EVS you can typically charge from 10 to 50 60 percent for Ionic 6 you can Actually go from 10 to 80 percent within 18 minutes you know just to put things Into perspective if you have a modern EV That charges fast then the battery swap Is not really a a great Advantage but in China that could be a completely Different story because in China Uh I guess some cars over there they Don't charge as fast because that's one Of the downsides with this one it's a Freaking 100 kilowatt hour battery but It Peaks at 125 kilowatts uh until Around 35 then it drops to slowly to 100

Kilowatt Uh so it hasn't somewhat flat curve but The main point is that it charges at Maximum 125 kilowatt whereas other 100 Kilowatt hour packs let's say you got Tesla or fat e-tron or yeah other other Even smaller packs they charge at 150 170 175 you know or 200 250 kilowatts on Tesla so I feel like that's the Achilles Heel of this el7 and also Es8 and also Et7 is that since they have the same Battery exact same battery because they Actually you can actually swap them and Then suddenly you might get another Battery that has been in an ear in es8 Or 87. Um what I'm saying is that The weakest point or one of the weak Points in this car is that it charges a Little bit slow compared to other cars With 100 kilowatt hour packs And unfortunately today we don't have Enough battery swap stations where you Can go on a pure battery swap well it Depends I guess but yeah Uh so what it means is that you might Have to Charge also in between and I've seen Many many new people around Norway Charge on ionity or other charges uh why Don't they always swap well because they Have to fill in a little bit of charging And then that's the problem because if

This car had 200 kilowatt charging at Least It would be way better In many ways yeah because it seems like Neo they just designed the car or tailor It for China but Europe is different Than China But it doesn't make this car bad I don't Think it's just that It could have been even better it could Have been insanely fast for example for Trips if it was charging faster or if You had more battery operations I guess Yeah Yeah but other than that it's a nice car It has pretty good headlights Not the best I've ever seen I think but Yeah it's still pretty good Well actually I need to test them They're the same as the El not the et5 But they are not adaptive or no no Matrix stuff or anything like that so Um So yeah Um yeah this one here is a bit weird it This one is maybe the only thing that I Think is a little bit weird because the Rest of the car once you try one and you Touch Steering Wheel seats Uh door handles uh everything right you Feel like this is a really well built Car And yeah I think many people who buy for Example German cars they they want

German cars because of that that kind of Premium feel and that they when they Touch something they feel like It has been built to last unlike some Other cars maybe Yeah that doesn't have that kind of Premium feel so um let me just drive Around here and give it more input on How this car drives and for day-to-day Driving I gotta say okay I should compare Against the eqs SUV because this is a Big car by the way the el7 is a big car It's actually slightly smaller than ES 7. But I feel like this is a better Um okay I like the the the the looks and The way this one rides better than the Es8 es8 is somewhat old Um it has been in China for a long time Until Europe got it and the design just Looks a little bit uh outdated in my Opinion but this one looks just nice and Slick and sexy in the back and oh Um and then also it is also more Efficient than the es8 it has more Efficient Motors And the drag coefficient is better and You sacrifice a little bit of space but The es8 has third row so of course if You need that one then you have to go For Esa but I think this el7 will fit Many many people if you're considering a

Big SUV And yeah if you look at eqs SUV I guess That's freaking expensive you can buy Three of these for one US SUV uh Then the the eqs SUV is more bold I feel It it's more both Than this But also I should mention that I heard The stereo system here that's also one Of the weaker points with this car is That the stereo doesn't sound that great It has this over crisp on unpleasant Treble And the base doesn't have the punch like There is a subwoofer in the back but It sounds like a built here muscle for a Cheap one or it doesn't really give the Punch and the deepness and and the Linearity in the bass and also in General the whole the whole stereo Perspective and the the mid-tones Doesn't sound good it just I don't know How to explain this but you can try it Yourself but I was not impressed with The stereo system But and also of course I mentioned this Because if you buy an eqs SUV okay if You pay for the build master you get Insanely good sound same with if you Well actually be aware they don't have What they have there yeah they have ayax Yeah but IX is way smaller way less Space than here uh IX even has slightly Less space than than um model y I think

Yeah so we have to compare this car Against other big SUVs and they aren't That money we have model X I haven't Tried the latest and greatest there's More or less Palladium yet but I can Imagine how it is it's going to be Tighter maybe a little bit harsher in The suspension But also the models would go like a Rocket way faster than this one but I'm pretty sure based on the the Palladium Model S that the model X will Not have nearly as as good comfort and Soundproofing as this el7 uh and then What other competitors you have you have The Um The fat e-tron or the Q8 e-tron I just Called it fatron the fat e-tron the new One Feels a bit outdated in the infotainment Here you have a way more modern Infotainment with you guys have the ball Button here you have navigation you have This one and you have you go to the menu Uh You see lots of I'm just trying yeah you have lots of Stuff here in the menu you actually have Let me see um in Cabin comfort you have Pet mode you have power keep mode and You have camping mode Hmm where have they seen that one before In Tesla maybe pet mode is the same as

Bigger battery Uh well the both of them are overdrive This one has way more space You know I think if we did some kind of Side by side uh A battle a spec battle or whatever you Call it feature battle between the the El7 and ix-1 for example the el7 would Win most of those And the el7 is also cheaper seven 680k versus the the ix-1 which is 700 Degree right roughly but then what about Bus yes I know you have to pay for bus You have to pay 2000 note for renting The battery yes but like I mentioned you Could you get charging or you get Battery swap for it so you get basically Get S Like free charging for the price you pay For bus roughly so at least when I Calculated it I found that it's a really good deal So you can you have to do your math of Course and figure out whether it's worth It for you or not but at least when I Look at it it was really really good so Um yeah So I'm actually quite impressed of this Car It's just that it annoys me on long Trips when as long as I'm driving now Without the the as the driving assist it Works great

The bumps oh yeah I had the el7 the same Time that I had an ionic six so it was a Little bit split but I was really busy Testing both cars as much as I can and It was actually a pleasure every time I Sit in here and drive it Let's see here's the bumpy part I want To show you oh yeah it's just no it's so Nice oh like if I had the money and I Needed an SUV Oh yeah I would strongly consider this car I Personally might not buy this car Because Because of the know me okay okay no Offense know me but because of the Autostair uh choppiness and zigzag That's like the one reason that could Put me off buying this car because I use Those Auto stair systems a lot because I Tend to go on long trips on motorways Yeah But really if you want to buy something Like this uh uh this is probably the Best car for the money the German cars They are a lot more expensive and other German other Chinese competitors like Um by D tang tang Is fairly spacious but it just doesn't Have that nice ride like you get here The the comfort in the suspension tongue Has a weird bounce and suspension I Don't like this one just feels very very German it's the only purpose to run over

The pop tosser it's just oh yeah it's Really good they seem to balance the the The the what you call it the compression Versus the rebound very well but this Car has been designed in Munchen so Germans have been working on it and then They they tossed the car over to the Chinese and then they work on the Software Oh man can you just let some Americans In Silicon Valley take care of the Software instead yeah maybe not Tesla Because then you have Phantom break yeah By the way okay okay I forgot to mention This one Phantom breaks and it's a it's Annoying like I would be driving in the Motorway there will be a car on that Lane and then this car detects that it Could possibly merge and it this car Phantom breaks and it says possible Merge coming right but many many times It did not was not even near crossing The line but there are some cases yes Where it happened Uh but it was a little bit annoying so Software could be tuned better Yeah that's what I'm saying okay but um Okay I'm just gonna end now because it's A very long video but um So I I mentioned competitors very Important to mention competitors right And one other competitor is actually the One parked over here several of them is Parked over here

This one Wait Why you are free Can you see it wait you can't Okay whatever whatever you can kind of See it yeah the Voya free And when I tested it not too impressive It was noisy the suspension was a bit Weird from what I remember uh And it was charging not that fast but They're going yeah they were supposed to Increase the charging speed on it the Space Also wasn't That great wasn't it uh yeah but also Well I don't consider it but Hong she is Very very big and and spacious also and Super comfy so Hong XI might be one of The closest competitors in this one but The whole she feels more both closer to An eqs SUV or yeah something between an Eqs SUV and and the regular egg or Something uh And what else other Chinese big cars do We have um no I think that's it Yeah but Yeah so what should I say um this car Gets my thumbs up two thumbs up really Really good car And there are of course some Disadvantages but every car a test comes Out with some disadvantages and some Good stuff but this one has lots of good Stuff I think that's what I'm trying to Say

So hopefully Neo will watch my videos And look at what I'm complaining about And hopefully fix some of that So that's the good thing about many Chinese car manufacturers is that they They actually listen to the feedback and They they improve oh yeah I forgot I forgot one one oh how can I forget it Yeah The one and only car that Neo needs to Fare is Expand G9 the G9 was super impressive it Was More or less like this it was just oh Quiet comfortable good dampening you Know oh it's been when I put it in park Then okay that is a bit weird logic Because I put it in park it reset the Light yeah you see then I have to go Here and have it to the lights and I Have to turn it on again so you see Little quirks that would annoy the heck Out of me in day-to-day driving with This uh the way it has been programmed But yeah so I think that's it this car Is one of the best in the in its class Only may be beaten by um uh the the Expand G9 but D9 doesn't have batteries Up but G9 can charge at 300 kilowatt Supposedly in Europe so yeah that's Going to be like the epic battle between The Chinese cars in Norway Europe So yeah I think that's going to be it For now I hope you guys enjoyed this

Electric City Vehicles

Electric vehicles use motors powered by rechargeable batteries, freeing them from dependence on fossil fuels and reducing emissions. They don’t generate any tailpipe emissions and emit significantly fewer greenhouse gases (GHGs), ozone precursors, particulate matter, and other pollutants. EVs are especially clean when refueled with electricity generated from solar or wind power.

Electric cars have a range that’s usually up to 250 miles. They can be charged at home or at a public charging station. Many EVs come with a charger, and many owners have one installed in their garage. Public charging stations are available for most major cities, and there are even mobile chargers that can be brought to your home or office.

Some EVs are plug-in hybrids, which run on both electric and gasoline. The EV1 was a pioneering electric vehicle that previewed a number of features and technologies that would later appear in other GM vehicles. These included a 3-phase AC induction electric motor that delivered its full torque at 0-7000 rpm, a high-efficiency single-speed reduction integrated transmission, and an innovative aluminum/plastic body that reduced weight and increased strength. The EV1 could accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 2.8 seconds.
