Earthjustice works to expand recharging infrastructure to relieve the need for drivers to charge their vehicles at home, a common barrier to EV adoption. We’re working with state public utilities commissions to build workplace charging and centralized fast-charging stations.
For example, Pasadena Water and Power is installing Level 2 chargers in parking garages and public parking lots throughout the city. It’s also collaborating with the City of New York on an Electric Vehicle Vision Plan that aims to dramatically increase the amount of public charging infrastructure across the five boroughs.
