In New York City, for example, NYC DOT is expanding public charging availability by installing 100 Level 2 chargers in curbside spaces throughout the five boroughs. In addition, the agency is establishing a network of 1,000 publicly accessible plug-in stations by 2025 and equipping 20 percent of parking spaces with fast chargers.
