This video was brought to you by Steinberg a better world planner Mr Green Camp power and Marcus Beale Yo what's up we are now at build Component day in crafter it's been a While since last time but here we are Back here with the plant you guys know It it's because it's a green car but Today we will install some uh Aftermarket electric Frank opener Closner and also some mud flaps so I Will show you the products you see this Is just original right now and then here We have uh the aftermarket from EV offer So we can look at the components in here How is this again the engine or the Dutch motor okay so what pulls down they Hood when it's all the way down the Cables ECU and then the new struts okay So all this stuff needs to be installed Uh see there's also some eboniency Release Here the original ones also has An emergency release in there you know Where you put the water existing in here So um yeah that's the plan for the Electric Frank thing it's not the that New really but it want to see how it Works in the plan but then also mud Flaps you see here Um the car gets kind of dirty it's been Washed but it gets so dirty in Norwegian Winter so Tesla they of course provide You with some mud flaps see if you can Take out one of these you can see so
This is the original from Tesla and they Only provide with the front ones Let me see can maybe you could take out The other that's that's the one side Yeah okay if you could take the same one That will also go on the same sign yeah Yeah is that okay so you can see that This is the original And this is the uh well from which Providers it's uh from China China okay But listen if you try to put them here Try to compare so Tesla's original will Stay like on this side right Like this and damn it's low holy crap Man there's not even a fist of clearance Here okay and and then the Chinese okay Okay All right so there's uh oh this one look Look uh still someone some people don't Want it but I think it still looks Better than the the Tesla original All right so that's cool and then also The rare one will be mounted Um Here right on the back side roughly like This ish yeah okay oh is that the actual Rare one yeah yeah okay so yeah I guess We'll let Siva do the work Um so Sandra he's busy making phone Calls and whatever so but he lets in There so So Sandra is the boss over here so he Couldn't be bothered doing the Insulation work today so I guess I'll
Let them uh do yeah what do we have to Do first by the way Everything out here so we can reach our Access uh all the connections and power And ground and change out the struts and Everything Okay how do we open up by the way these Are pretty simple let's just pop Straight up And it comes out oh and here we see the Tesla alien technology Oh I'll notice that with a new trunk here It's a lot easier to take out everything For installing With the old ones you had so many screws Just to get everything out Now you see everything just popped out Now And then four screws and now we're in We're in Or you can take a quick tour on the Tesla's hood here you see here we have This super manifold it says there on the Side there and then here we have the Heat pump And you see here we have heatsink for The headlights And here's the the 12 volt now it's Lithium so it's wow that is super Compact Very small I guess they don't need that big uh I Can see there's some air filter here
And this is also intake for what is this Is this intake air intake for some Okay okay yeah this is for yeah all Right Um there's the one motor in down there I Can see Well actually one of this is the motor One is inverter I don't know exactly but You see that Or you see some pipes here but not that Many If you pop up A Ford Mark E you would faint so Tesla They really engineered everything very Well to minimize the number of hoses and How long they are and everything Wow that's pretty cool yeah So now we're taking out the original Struts you see it's kind of small they Say that we have two of them and then This is the new one wow so it's way Bigger Yeah it's quite a big beef here It's quite simple so there's a motor in There oh you just pop it in yeah It's like the plug and play on the model 3 X and Y you have to change so the Brackets But on there yes it's just using the Normal ones Okay so insulation is done now so let's See I guess we can start here there is An extra piece here is that this metal Piece here was it the black metal piece
Here we put on top with an extra Connector here And then we also put the motor which Pulls the hood down at the end to the Electric closed down here then it goes Wires all the way up to the ECU which is And down here which is blinking red Where you can press the button here to Change the speeds of how quickly the Hood's going up and down and then you Have the struts with the motors in it on Either side so so so let me explain here So we have some Motors in the struts They will push the the hood up and also Pull it down but then there's an extra Motor here to do that initial pull when You want to add I can actually we can Demonstrate how it works but then here Can you also demonstrate here see right When you push that button it will change The speed you change the speed it's Basically just Push the button and wait and initially It's starting on the slow setting It beeps quite loud oh it's freaking Loud yeah And it goes quicker and quicker It's Chinese for sure yeah Then I can put it on the setting you Want for the speed you want I mean I'm pretty sure that Chinese people are Really deaf people that's why everything Needs to be so loud But okay I guess we just put put all the
Stuff back and then we need to test this Yeah Community testers so we can use the app Or if you have a key fob you can use That one you can also do it in via the Screen so all you need to do is just Close Oh beautiful Yeah and then to open it just press it Here Oh hey what speed is this the fastest One or Okay another I like that speed Everything else I mean Yeah this is fast enough for me Everything else would be slower in my Opinion yeah yeah wow I can do this all Day This is actually a very nice feature When I think about it other car Manufacturers they get this one original I wonder what once again Well let me see it interesting now the The car locked but I think that doesn't Matter it will still yeah it will still Do it Cool cool and then I guess now we'll do The mud flaps And this one well you could screw them If you want to through here but we don't Recommend it yeah so but we just use the The what you call it the clips here it Just goes over oh okay I just can't hold It all right so we have a clip on the
Front and another clip we need and and That will keep everything in place yeah So there's one underneath on the front As well it's a very quick installation I Can show you here on this side and There's another one under here I can see the clip there There's All right all done So the purpose of the mud flaps is Actually to take care of the paint of The Tesla well typically we will have Rocks tiny rocks or just mud or whatever Schmutz just just make everything so Dirty on the side here so this one will Catch it and also prevent rocks from Hitting the side of the car here when it Comes to the rear part this one is more About her caring about dry people Driving behind you so instead of throws Being I mean rocks being thrown behind The car it would not be captured there And when it comes to efficiency hmm Yeah I think it shouldn't matter too Much maybe it creates slightly worse Drag I'm not sure maybe if our time I Should try to test the efficiency now It's still when we still have the winter Tires and of course these wheel caps to See how it is so yeah I have some ideas What we can do with the with the front Hood by the way open and close and we'll Put that in another video of course so Yeah what do you guys think huh I mean
Still looks okay right or did the mud Flaps it ruined the looks of the Plaid But okay by the way so Um if you come to build component or you Order from build converter you can get 15 discount uh if you use my Tesla Viewer or I don't remember I think it's A testicle and discount code so they Ship all over the world I think According to Sunday at least most Countries so yeah just go ahead and Check out all the cool products they Have here so video is not done yet I Mean by the video is done but I have Some interesting tests I want to do with This new installations so that's going To be it for now I hope you guys enjoyed This video as always thank you for Watching and talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power
Electric City Vehicles Cars Power
The future of the electric car is bright as EVs increasingly take over from traditional gas-powered cars and trucks. With prices for batteries plummeting and environmental concerns driving the shift, automakers are gearing up to introduce dozens of new battery-powered vehicles over the next several years.
Tesla Ford GM Power Manufacturing
Almost every major manufacturer has announced plans to sell pure-electric cars in the near future. But a few have gone a step further and repositioned themselves as dedicated EV brands, with a clear statement that they will not produce any gas-powered models for sale in the future.
BMW i3 and i8
BMW is well-known for its high-end luxury cars, but the company has also been experimenting with more economical and accessible electric cars. The BMW i3 was the first mass-produced EV in the world, and its sister model, the i8, is one of the most affordable luxury hybrids on the market.
Honda Emotion
Despite the fact that Honda’s Emotion is a small two-seater, it packs a lot of punch with its 1.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. It has a claimed range of up to 31 km (19.2 miles) on a charge and can hit speeds of 45 km/h (28 mph).
Nissan Leaf
The Nissan Leaf is the most popular all-electric car in the US, and its battery enables it to go up to 150 kilometers (90 miles) on a single charge. It’s also one of the best-selling EVs worldwide, and its sales continue to rise.
