Yo what's up we are now sitting in a Tesla Model S plot from muscus Beale and This video I'm going to show you guys The headlights So let's go So now we have a low beam wait actually No the high beam is on okay so normally Be like this low beam and then if you Just press the the buttons on the Yoke Right so you press the Yoke wheel it Will just flush It's it's touch screen well or haptic Feedback buttons Uh I guess to save costs right and then If you press and hold For a couple of seconds then it goes Into auto mode and now you see that it Will go on and off automatically All right let me see And drive through this section here it's Kind of slippery maybe a dry asphalt Minus seven degrees Celsius should be Good for the nuke and huckability R5 Studless winter tires Okay and then wait let me see How is the high beam hey this is Interesting so the high beam does not go Off over here most other cars will turn Off the the auto high beams Um okay well I just keep it on then well But let me show another mod by the way So if I press briefly I can then in the Screen turn off auto high beam and now We are on manual mode and then in manual
Mode if you just press it still becomes The Flash And then If you press and hold for a couple if You have to press and hold long enough There's like a circle that starts Ticking now we are on on Manual and auto high beam on and then Press once again high beam off and then Press press and hold long enough now High beam on okay so let me just have it On manual for now so I'm going to show You what it looks like so I tested model 3 and model y a lot and when I saw this One I was like these are the exact same Headlights uh well we're going to just Do the test route and I can we can see If there's any differences but you can See the characteristics the shape the Strength everything looks the same same But different different car yes but that Makes sense and for what I've heard that Tesla uses hella headlights And they are in my opinion these are Extremely good headlights look look at The nice box in front of us you know a Good spread good strength And wow okay and then when it comes to Adaptive stuff well you know when you Use the light show these headlights they Can draw a Tesla right or I guess Anything you want so there is some kind Of Matrix capability in the hardware but It seems like Tesla has not enabled it
In the software yet so maybe one day Test it will announce that okay every Tesla Model 3 or why after 2021 or something I don't remember you Know with the new headlights they will Automatically get Matrix headlights over the air software Yeah so let me show you here yes it Looks incredibly good Good spread also shines quite High you See you can it will shine fairly high on The bush there like almost as good as The the BMW i7 headlights those are just One notch strong at one notch wider like I was I felt like I was driving with Some lead bar almost with the i7 but This one also Top Notch the only problem Is that they are not adaptive not no Matrix action going on and also they Don't turn so if you do this see They are just stiff so yeah But on that yeah we have to do the Urbanatory farm inspection of course Yeah we haven't done it in a while the Farmers be like oh man it's been three Months now with no your full sightings Well I guess what Tesla Bjorn is back oh Yeah Let me see so over here oh what the heck That light pole seems to be a bit uh Skewed like it's about to fall off Okay All right um Yeah but I mean it makes sense oh you
Know you might be wondering but hey this Is the flagship of Tesla right why do They still use the same cheap headlight Like the model 3 and model y well it Seems like at least when it comes to Safety feature or critical components in A Tesla they still want to use the best regardless of which car it is even The lowest entry level even the model 3s Are plus with the smallest battery Will have the same headlights and then By simply simplifying production Simplifying number of Parts you will Then make everything cheaper and better See here foreign But this is good stuff man yeah I don't Know if there's anything else to explain Let me see how is the Turning Circle in The Model S Well he has a turning circle like a Cruise ship as usual okay well then the Struggle is real with a yoke The joke I mean oh the joke will oh All right I'll never go back back yeah so um But yeah so uh what should I say about The headlines they are they are really Good I've been driving model 3 and model Y all over the place at night also many Times and it's such a pleasure to use These headlights compared to the old Generation like Tesla didn't really have That great headlights From from the from the 2013 Tesla Model
S it was okay ish set on lights Um but the problem it's analyzed they Tend to fade over time and then it Becomes uh worse but then of course when You change that light bulb then it Becomes better and then with the LED They introduced in facelift it was Actually I felt like it was even worse Yeah and the model X had slightly better The LED lights but still not that great Not nearly as good as these ones we have Here And model 3 also is like not that great But with from now on yeah Tesla realized That headlights are important so they Fitted with the great headlights because In Europe we have something called Curves that they don't have in America They only have straight roads I think One time when I draw in uh I think it Was in um uh Nevada or somewhere right Or somewhere around there Well I don't remember roughly but it was On the on the West coast and I think I actually drove From one supercharger to another it was Like 100 kilometers or something 150 Kilometers between them And the road between those two Superchargers it was just one straight Road no bends at all so yeah I Understand now how uh Tesla and Americans they designed the cars like You know Dodge wiper or no those
American muscle cars they are just Designed to go straight They are they have not been designed to Go fast around curves or lights and and I don't know maybe they don't have Oncoming traffic over there so they Don't need to have any adaptive stuff For Matrix But yeah the most part is not here today All right we haven't seen the moves we Haven't seen the fox or anything like That and the Hedgehog they are not here Today So um Well I have to say hmm through the Camera it looks uh the the light looks a Bit Um cold but I use the same settings for Every shot and I use manual white Balance set to 4 300 Kelvin So um but but for me though when I drive This car I don't feel like they are cold And I think like that so yeah a good Spread but like we see in twisty part Like here I I feel like I would like to Have the car I mean if it would turn That would be great or even if it for Some reason could shine wider like the Eqs headlights they are really great They they actually change the light cone Based on speed so they would shine wider When you are stationary or driving slow And then it concentrates more towards The front or you know yeah when you
Drive faster But then the eqs spread wasn't the Greatest I didn't feel like the the i7 Was better but then for example uh Pole Starlights and Volvo lights well if You if you can get pixel light still you Know they they have the pixel technology Uh can block out big sections And it will also turn in the curves so When I tested the Eqs recently they didn't turn and then So when I look at the other eqs Doesn't seem like they turn But the Volkswagen lights ID3 id4 and Those they're also really good they also Shine nice and wide and turn so these These Tesla headlights they kind of lose Points because they don't turn And there is no Matrix going on yet so Yeah but as a static light on not too Busy roads that these are really really Good and it makes night driving less uh Well to say fatigue full is that even The word well I just invented it like Ladder style yeah well actually I need I Didn't invent other stuff I just made it More famous just like I did not invent The camper mode I just made it more Famous yeah all right anyway I think I'm Just gonna stop over here and now I'm Going to record the same video in Thai So that's gonna be it for now I hope you Guys enjoyed this video as always thank You for watching and talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power
Electric City Vehicles Cars Power
The car industry is set to change in many ways. A wave of tax credits, American manufacturing and buyer incentives, and increased commitments from carmakers to deliver more electric vehicles (EVs) is reshaping how we power personal transportation and how we think about energy.
Tesla Ford GM Power Manufacturing
As the electric vehicle transition accelerates, so too does its impact on how we build our cities. EVs and other battery-powered cars are a key part of smart cities, providing new means of connecting people with the places they need to go and with each other.
Besides being cleaner and cheaper to operate, EVs are also more efficient than gas-powered vehicles. That’s because they use fewer fuel units and recharge faster.
They also store energy and can even send it back to the grid, a process that could help utilities cope with surges in demand during periods of high consumption. Currently, this technology isn’t widely used, and it’s not easy to get permission from utility companies to send energy back to the grid.
But if the electric car industry continues to grow, it will force utilities to find new ways to deal with that surge. A solution could be a vehicle-to-grid system, which would allow cars to take on extra energy from renewable sources in the daytime and then return some of that electricity during peak demand times.
As we transition to a low-zero-carbon society, we need a whole set of innovative solutions that can make our cities better in more ways than one. As this book shows, EVs can be an important part of that.
