This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Yo what's up we're now at Circle K is Learn school and we're gonna prepare for One one thousand kilometer challenge With the trailer and then model y as you Guys were requesting this is by the way Model by performance shouldn't matter Too much they are quite efficient anyway So yeah I went for the big trailer So the same trailer I use in most other Challenges except for the one with the Plot but okay whatever uh so you can see The license plate here this one should Weigh around 700 kilograms it's huge It's tall and it's quite boxy so the Consumption on this one should resemble A caravan even but the carbon is more Aerodynamic but okay anyway we're going To start now with 100 yeah first of all I have to complain that you this Connection was easy to connect to the Cable this side was clumsy I haven't Even Connected all the way just it's super Tiny because when you connect it you Need to Push down this one and twist it but I Simply couldn't twist it further let me Try one more time noise I don't know man What the heck like this is so bad Construction why is it so damn tight Here because you have to tighten on this

Other cars I keep HVAC off because if You run HVAC it will actually overheat The battery because it will be stealing AC power but Tesla has alien technology So what it's happening now is that when I run the heater because you see after All it's 13 degrees Celsius outside Then instead of overheating the battery It will actually scavenge heat from the Battery to to heat up the cabin you can See here battery Inlet is lower than Battery temperature huh why aren't other Car manufactured during this Um it's white snitch but yeah so this is The the downside of going to V2 is that We get not so fast speed so but we just Have to juice up enough to get over to Worldwide it will be a little bit slow Here this one so Yeah not much we can do man but at least The consumption dropped a little bit Only 400 watt hour per kilometers I mean How low temperature and you have a Headwind then that's what happens so Yeah let me show you here unfortunately This site doesn't even have any V3 They're only V2s over here And over here yeah but at least it has Trailer friendly stalls I didn't have to Unhick the trailer yet so that's good But you see that over here There's nothing here at night okay I can Throw there there's a bush over there But you see here

Not in the in the car display it will Never show decimals but in car scanner And it's got my Tesla as long as the Number is small you can see some of the Other numbers are as long as they're Small they will have decimals so what We're going to do is we'll wait for 900 Here but 900 I found out on the display Is actually 899.5 so they rounded up which means That we have to wait until 900. Uh wait roughly five yeah you know now We need to sign the count roughly 500 Meters or at least let's say 300 Something meters and then Uh now we do this and then we reset trip And now it's gonna start counting from Zero and you see now we have decimals And then there's some numbers they're Going crazy but Yeah and now we can do another line we Count to 100 here and that would be Another nine Yes I called it 250 kilowatt it's not a Myth it is actually possible to get it For a couple of seconds just like a man With an erection I'm just kidding but Okay Anyway yeah so uh oh you can see here I'm sorry you can see here oh you can See this one this one okay so we are Currently at Um 932 kilometers we need 68 more Kilometers

EVs can offer drivers a greener option for getting around town than their gasoline counterparts. But if you want to make the switch to electric, you’ll need to plan ahead for charging — and be prepared for higher prices and a different car-buying process.
Depending on where you live, your electricity is produced from a variety of sources. Some areas are primarily powered by hydroelectricity; others use coal and natural gas. Regardless, fossil fuels are still used to generate most of the country’s energy supply. That means that, even if you drive an EV, you could be contributing to greenhouse gas emissions at the power plant level.
As EV sales surge, many dealers are grappling with the impact of the new technology. In California, for example, where all 2025 model year vehicles must be EVs, Ford’s opt-in window closes next month and some dealers are feeling pressure to adopt the vehicles faster than they might prefer. Other issues include deciding how to sell or trade EVs and how to service them, as well as the cost of charging. Some EV owners also choose to install home chargers that can plug into the same standard 120 V outlets you’d use for an electric dryer (Level 1), or in some cases a more powerful 240 V outlet designed for fast charging (Level 2) – or simply drive to one of the growing number of public stations across the nation. In some cases, you can even charge your vehicle with renewable energy using a new type of technology called “vehicle-to-grid” power.
