Tesla and the live stream event is going To start in a couple minutes so it's Going to be the private event so we'll Probably just stream live the Texas uh Unveil of the numbers and of the first Delivery of SE trucks so not sure what It's going to be happening here but this Is a quick short just to show you guys That we're here and I'll try to post a Video when this is all Done

Electric City Vehicles and the Power Grid
As Seattle and other cities urge residents to buy electric vehicles, it is important to make sure the power grid can handle them. The good news is that EVs need about 30 kilowatt-hours to travel 100 miles, less than half the energy needed by an internal combustion engine car. And regenerative braking gives the motor a little recharge every time the driver steps on the brakes, using energy that would otherwise be wasted (Union of Concerned Scientists, 2018).
Small battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are more affordable than larger models that require more advanced batteries with higher cost and supply chain risks. EVs also offer benefits that can lower operating costs, including reduced maintenance, lower fuel and emissions costs, and tax incentives in some countries.
EVs are quieter and smoother than gasoline cars, with instant-on torque that makes them easier to drive. The motors can also be more efficient, converting up to 62 percent of the energy from the grid into forward motion, compared with 17-21 percent for gas engines.
The United States currently has three battery production plants that produce lithium-ion batteries for EVs: LG Chem’s plant in Holland, Michigan, to supply GM; Envision AESC’s facility in Smyrna, Tennessee, to supply Nissan; and Panasonic’s plant in Sparks, Nevada, to supply Tesla (see table 2). Other major suppliers have announced plans to expand their production capacity in the near future.
EVs can also help reduce demand on the grid by charging during off-peak hours, when electricity prices are lower. But in addition to ensuring the electricity grid can accommodate EVs, we need to continue investing in clean, renewable energy to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
