This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Thank you So you see here ID3 approach 62 kilowatt Of facelift Um did it uh Slower than the other ones it even saw The max max was the slowest button Because uh no wait oh my bad it's Actually faster yeah I'm looking at the Wrong way Max is of course is lowest because it Has the biggest rims but then this one Is in the middle but then uh Plus on the Other ones they are here they are faster Yeah why they're faster they have the Same tires even same Dimension look here Versus uh this one but for some reason I Measure that this facelift weighs 1900 Kilograms whereas these other ones here First I think this is the one or four Plus They are 40 or 60 kilograms lighter so That's why they are faster but it seems Like it has the same motor Characteristics 204 horsepower so when It comes to acceleration no difference There and then braking as a new test I Started doing not long time ago about a Year ago so there I don't want to see How well it breaks and yeah it it is Performing quite well you can see that It's in the upper half and how many do
We have what are the winter tires there Are kind of at least you say here that We have around 30 cars and then it comes In uh okay well in the middle somewhere So not the best maybe because it doesn't Have that fat tires but in general Um German cars they break very well you Can see on the top here there's lots of German cars here but okay and the last Thing we're going to check out is noise So how did it do it then okay when it Comes to noise also a new testing method I introduced about maybe a year ago so I Started using the left lane because the Right way is getting worn out or more Worn out and noisier So if you compare this one the facelift Six is around 66 decibel average versus The other ID threes they come down here How far do you have to scroll down here You see ID3 first 68 that's whooping Three wait two decibel difference but Then Bridgestone yeah okay content Okay I suspect maybe the continent Uh what they call again Continental I suspect that it's Continental they are Quieter and that in combination with the Left lane makes it quieter but I uh I Would assume that if we try to put this This same Tire on the pre-facelift we Would probably get the same result Because I didn't really hear any Difference in noise levels here so what
Does this mean well it means that when It comes to acceleration it's slightly Worse because it's a little bit heavier For some reason I'm not sure why when it Comes to braking it performs about Average and when it comes to noise it Seems to be the same so seems like Volkswagen they haven't done any updates On that car even after three years they Did the minor changes to the outside a Little bit of changes the inside seems Like okay but we have to test it deeper To find out more but I think that's Going to be for now I hope you guys Enjoyed this video as always thank you For watching and talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Powering the Future
The electric car uses motors powered by rechargeable batteries to free your drive from fossil fuels. They produce zero emissions, and can often be charged overnight at home or while you’re at work (even while you’re shopping). EVs can also be recharged at many public charging stations throughout the Seattle area, including those operated by City Light.
A large variety of new electric models are now hitting the market, helping to stimulate demand. These include LSVs, which are low-speed vehicles that meet a set of abbreviated safety regulations, and can operate on US roads with speed limits up to 25 mph (40 km/h). Volkswagen introduced its new ID series and Stellantis has several new smaller EV-only models.
EVs also cost less to maintain than traditional vehicles. They have fewer moving parts and require less maintenance such as tune-ups or oil changes. Electric vehicle drivers also spend less on gasoline and can save money on parking.
Electric vehicle technology is advancing rapidly. Battery capacity continues to improve, enabling EVs to travel further on a single charge. Some EV owners have reported driving their cars as far as 230 miles (370 km) without recharging, and the majority of new EVs on the market now have a range of at least 80 miles on a full charge.
Earthjustice is partnering with Federal agencies and other organizations to support their efforts to deploy charging infrastructure. We are also supporting efforts to build a network of “EV hubs” in NYC, featuring up to four DC fast chargers and two Level 2 chargers. These hubs are located in city-owned public parking lots and garages, and will allow EV owners to easily navigate their neighborhoods with confidence.
