Also, 20 percent of municipal parking spaces will be equipped with Level 2 chargers by 2025.
With all these initiatives, NYC will be able to become a national leader in the EV transition. The city plans to install 10,000 charging points by 2030.
In order to calculate the power needed for an electric vehicle, several factors must be considered. Most fully electric car models are able to accept both AC and DC power.
Battery capacity is another factor that should be considered. Typically, the higher the kilowatt-hours, the longer the range. Depending on the model, a fully electric vehicle may have a range of more than 500 miles.
