Maserati’s first electric GranTurismo
Maserati has unveiled an all-electric GranTurismo that’s just as sporty as its gas counterpart. This is the first fully electric GranTurismo in the company’s history. It features an 800-volt battery electric system with three motors and 760 horsepower. It’s a dazzling car to look at, and it’s also quite quiet.
Electric Vehicle Charging Station
The interior of the electric GranTurismo is similar to the gas model, except that the car doesn’t have a tailpipe. The new GranTurismo also has a cover for its charge port on the left side. Both GranTurismos have bucket seats and multiple screens for information, including a digital instrument cluster and a comfort display. The electric GranTurismo can also be ordered with optional head-up display, which allows drivers to view their speedometer without having to get out of the car.
Maserati spent a lot of time developing the battery pack for the GranTurismo. The battery pack is arranged in a “T” shape on the floor of the car, allowing the battery pack to fit inside the transmission tunnel. This helps to maintain the car’s balance by keeping the battery close to the driver. It also features a 270-watt peak DC fast charging system, which means that it can recharge 62 miles of range in five minutes. The GranTurismo has a WTLP range of 250 miles.
Maserati’s standard warranty
The new Extra10 Warranty Program is designed to provide owners with coverage for their car’s powertrain for ten years. It builds upon Maserati’s Extended Warranty program, which allows customers to extend their vehicle warranty for up to five years. The program is available globally and in the U.S. starting October 1. It covers powertrain components, including the engine and transmission, and has no mileage limit.
Maserati offers a certified pre-owned program that includes a 120-point inspection. Mechanics perform multiple road tests and look for flaws anywhere from the drivetrain to the steering to panels and glass. A CPO vehicle is not required to have a clean vehicle history, but it is beneficial if the vehicle has a clean history.
The extended warranty program also includes a pick-up service and a courtesy car. This program is similar to others offered by other luxury automakers, including Audi, Aston Martin, and Ferrari. The extended warranty is good for up to 10 years or unlimited mileage and covers many parts of the car. It is a good idea to take advantage of this extended coverage if you have an older Maserati.
Maserati’s standard warranty is nothing special
A Maserati’s standard warranty is nothing exceptional, but you can extend it for an extra cost. The Extra10 Warranty Program covers the engine and powertrain for up to 10 years, and the Maserati company will cover any issues that arise during that time. In addition to this, you can get a courtesy car, pick-up services, and more. The program is available for all models, and goes into effect on October 1st.
As a luxury car, Maseratis are extremely expensive. They are also designed with bespoke features and complex foreign components, so their parts can be difficult to find. Moreover, repairs can be costly and time-consuming. Regardless of whether you buy a new or used Maserati, you’ll likely need to make repairs at some point.
