Speeds then the car prioritizers use the Rear motor I'm not sure why because of The power output maybe it's more Efficient at higher power or or maybe The gearing is is more optimized for Higher speed I'm not sure but also look Here a vehicle here you see now that Accelerator is 64 but that's 64 of the Accelerator pedal you see that we're Using less than 10 percent right now oh the car went from okay but uh okay He is really fast okay but look here if I change mode to comfort mode then the Throttle response changes Okay wait wait for it now you see we're Only using 21 accelerator still Like eight percent power you see this is Actually a clear sign that the Accelerator pedal changes so you you're Supposed to save power and not use yeah Not not have too much power output Okay back of the charger and wow 215 watt upper kilometer before Corrections Okay if you look at the result here um It seems like we have lower consumption Today on this 500 versus the 580 but Also the temperature is a lot higher Over here in Thailand so uh I'm not sure Really uh if the the 500 is more Efficient than 580 then we have to test Both cars in similar conditions So yeah I actually don't know if the 500 Is even sold in Norway but I heard that

The 500 it's actually sold is it in in Germany or maybe the rest of Europe So yeah Um but either way this car can go quite Far 667 kilometers range is about the Estimate based on the battery capacity So that is very close to the well I Think they use nadc here in Thailand It's claimed to have a little bit over 700 kilometers of range in Thailand so Yeah I guess if we drive a little bit Slower or if it's warmer outside then it Seems like it actually helps yeah so Yeah uh maybe I'll test the 500 but Actually right there I think actually I've tested enough eqs so I just wanted To test it in Thailand since it's Available here as one of the few uh German cars actually well fun fact the Eqs over here in Thailand is assembled Here so then they can bypass lots of the Import tax whereas other cars that have To import the the complete car from Germany is going to be quite expensive Because of quite Hefty importance we're Talking about almost two times the price Yeah All right anyway I think that's going to Be it for now I hope you guys enjoy this Video as always thank you for watching And talk to you later

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power

The transition to clean electricity from fossil fuels is accelerating as a result of customer demand, private-sector investments and some state policies approving utility investments recovered from ratepayers. It’s also boosted by new federal policy initiatives, including President Biden’s “zero emission vehicles” goal and infrastructure legislation that emphasizes White House support for transportation electrification.

Ford, GM and Stellantis are investing heavily in production of EVs that will eventually be sold around the world. The companies are planning to build more than 25 new EV nameplates over the next decade, with a focus on plug-in hybrid models like the Chevrolet Bolt and Cadillac Lyriq.

Battery Packs Roll in Capsules to Lake Orion (Michigan)

The lithium-ion batteries that make up the Chevy Bolt and other GM EVs arrive in large capsules at the company’s Michigan Central Station complex, where they are unpacked and shuffled through an overhead conveyor belt before being moved to an assembly floor. Eventually, the packs are bolted into a frame that’s been welded together by workers.

In a few years, the new factory will be able to build as many as 40 EVs daily. That will create hundreds of jobs, said GM Vice Chairman Bob Shanks.

Dealers Are Ready for a Big Change

With new EVs coming on the market, franchise dealers are already starting to get prepared to service them. They are gaining experience in the technology and becoming familiar with how to install chargers on the road, according to Chris Sutton, vice president of automotive retail for J.D. Power.
