Yo what's up we are now sitting in an Mg4 and in this video I'm going to do a Headlight test but it is in Thailand and We have front windscreen tint so just Bear that in mind but I will at least Try to give you an impressional how it Is now to do something weird here okay We're on the dark side I have to poke Open the window And then look outside oh You know what whoa This is like an unusual test because Okay oncoming traffic oh Okay and then Okay because What you see is like uh I was about to Say like a muffle uh reality since The because the tint is making it darker And also for me when I'm looking through The windscreen it's like uh it looks Kind of dark well actually when I poke Out of the wind let me let me just uh we Can draw a little bit slower here There's some slow moving traffic images Okay I mean let's look again okay look Here okay I'm poking out of the window And then Whoa that is some very impressive spread How to say man Okay we're in his eyes keeping cold Outside it's 11 degrees Celsius outside But yeah It looks quite good for a Chinese car Remember that this is a Chinese car
So um uh normally a Chinese car will Have quite shitty headlights Typically a poor spread here on the Other hand it seems like it's a lot Better and let's try to overtake those Two slow forces as I can get the better View of everything here oh Yeah oh oh yeah it's actually quite Common to just overtake these guys on Continues that they expect you to Overtake them because they're driving Dogs slow like seriously we are doing a 35 kilometers per hour here So um I would like you know you just Have to do like the locals which is the Hammer like this it looks weird but it's Actually yeah it's like overtaking a Tractor you know these guys they drive As low as tractors We're trying to get over uh get past These two guys And then we'll see again but okay and we Can I don't know if you see it but the Shape or the low beam is then mirrored Because over here the steering wheel is On the right side with the wrong side Not the left side with the right side Okay yeah this one I know this is it's Like a little uh S curve here So let's see okay now let's look at the High beam again Oh yeah but remember that what you see Is like a muffle reality of what it Looks like I just want to rip that tint
Off the front windscreen so you guys can See how it really is but I'm going to test again in Norway Eventually but I will just give you guys My first impression so far from Thailand Since I it's kind of funny I received The car like I was waiting for the Longest time for for mg in Norway to Lend me the car and they well actually They they booked it for me for uh late November but then they changed it to an Mg uh test instead I was like okay All the people uh did test the mg4 Already in Norway but not me And then now I'm finally driving it in The end of January 2023 in Thailand But okay So back to the point right now there's Not too much to say because we are on Lead roads but it will be dark soon so I Will show you more of the of the dark Side It shouldn't be that long the street Lights okay I think it's supposed to end Over here okay you see All right here we go boom Okay so it has uh actually very good Spread I have to say good spread and Also Uh quite strong I'm going to use I can Do this I'm gonna show yeah yeah if I do This like a dog Whoa that is very good okay on copy car Okay that is very good spread wow also
Well okay wait wait wait wait wait for This car to pass Let's see Whoa that is quite strong Ah let me take up there so that looks Very strong and bright and and good Spread also I'm quite impressed this Could be one of the best headlights in a Chinese car it even puts some of the Western cars to shame Wow So um Yeah okay I can see now uh the low beam Has this this extra it shines slightly Higher on the left side because that's Where you want to spot pedestrians or Other obstacles and then uh yeah it's It's kind of mirrored versus uh what it Should be in Europe so because in this Car the steering wheel is on the right Side with the wrong so I should have Been left side with the right side But wow look at that look at that whoa So is it I've been driving this road uh This is actually the road from chengdao Further up towards It's dark it's twisty Uh and not yeah and usually when I'm Driving uh press cars or cars I borrow From EV me they they always have tint And it looks freaking dark and I tend to Also borrow many Chinese cars and I I Feel a little bit unsafe I feel like I'm In the Darkness
But with the mt4 Despite having tint I feel like these Are damn good headlights yeah okay they Are not adaptive They they don't even turn let's try here You see they don't turn they're just Stiff but but just the the sheer Strength of the headlights and they Spread the distribution is very very Good I've seen many many different Headlights in the past and I gotta say Man based on what I see here This is uh This is some good I'm trying to get An impression it's just a little bit Hard to to get the right impression by Looking Through The Tint but I think we have something very similar To for example the Neo es8 I also Consider those headlights quite good I Know I have to hammer this uh fossil Okay you can do it here well there's an Oncoming car Okay let me see wait after the truck is Driving quite slow so I need to hammer Right off this truck Okay let's go yeah you see he wants me To hammer okay Well maybe I should say Yeah that means careful Okay over here the the street is lit so Uh that's kind of Right but uh yeah it should be dark Again soon what's that what's that
There's something blinking over here But uh yeah So eventually I need to test It in Norway like I said but um Just give you an impression because some Of you guys might be have been waiting Very long and Good headlines might be one of the Things you also consider and I gotta Tell you man this is this is some Seriously good Wow it's so enjoyable to drive on dark Roads when you have good headlights and You don't have to worry about that oh do I have good enough Vision I have really Good Vision even through the Tint that's What I'm saying look at this it shines Very well like I almost feel like I'm Driving the BMW i7 because it has such Like that wideness and it also shines Quite High which is very useful when you Go in on like a roller coaster but okay I like in twisty roads like here Actually yeah then I feel like in some Of the curves I feel like there's a I'm A little bit in the darkness so I don't See that much around the curb so it Would be great if it would maybe twist Or rotate in the turns or if I would Have well I'm not sure better spread but It's already quite good that's what I'm Saying yeah it's it's already very good Let me see wait after that one okay okay Wait after that one I guess and it'll Fire up again
So Okay there's ah what the heck what's up With this traffic man I'm trying to get out here uh early it's 5 46 in the morning okay now we have More lead-ups area okay but maybe this Is enough so At least my impression from Thailand is Very very good and we just have to see Them once I'm in in Norway and I tested Again in the in the regular stretch then I can compare it to be easier against Other cars so we will see so um yeah but I think this is going to be it Um yeah I hope you guys enjoy the video As always thank you for watching and Talk to you later
