This video was brought to you by a Battery planner cam power Marcus Beale Steinberg and Bill componente Yo what's up we're now in Austin behind Here you see Neo et5 touring this is a Neo test drive event and yes we're going To be driving the touring I mean I Already test driven the regular et5 so Yeah we will see how this one is Different so let me show you now we have Five cars and not too many drivers Fortunately I'm able to test drive this Myself I'm alone and then on the way Back I'll just ride with someone else so See oh you guys have seen it before but Not sure if you have seen this color I like it look at it fat bruise yeah This one let me the car probably around 90 of the car is the same as As the regular et5 and then okay let me Show you okay Friendly's Windows right At the back the back hole equipment Oh oh that there's been the lights On look at the sexy butt holy crap man Oh Oh man oh man oh man and you know what The price difference between the the Sedon et5 and the touring is just 13 000 Nook or a little over 1 200 Euros roughly right so I mean why Would you go for a regular one if you Can get the touring with

Oh wait for it Yeah with uh with the big box Of Type 2 cable No but okay so there's something there's Some new stuff here this glass here is Uh a little bit bigger than previously So this one is actually they call it Dimmable which means that you can make It darker Or brighter but it's not like like in The BMV or Porsche where you just Instantly makes it diffuse there's a Different technology supposedly and then It will gradually become darker and After two minutes you you have reached The darkest point and it's also smart so It will automatically adjust it based on Sun condition light conditions or Whatever so yeah so that's one feature And also a new one with the touring is That the seat here is then 40 20 40 Foldable so that means that you can have A freaking huge measure I can show you here you will have a Freaking huge ski opening this is stuff I haven't covered before previously so That means that you can actually have Skis in here and you can still have four People in the car So yeah here is it inside Looks like this a nice and Airy because Of this and also because this is not a Sedan anymore you actually have proper

Headroom so I need to test this we can Just do a quick one Whoa okay well actually I'm trying to figure out what the heck Is going on here okay it's still not an SUV But you actually have not one fist of a Headroom but you have roughly two Fingers of clearance here it could be Because the seat is a bit High ish but Maybe the battery pack is a bit uh thick I'm not sure what's going on but I was Expecting slightly better Headroom than This so I'm still 173 centimeters okay But then I had to play around with this One here Eventually we'll see let me see let's Get inside here first I'm gonna show you something else let me Check here They put the charge port Here on the left side with the right Side of the right side with the wrong Side I'm trying to figure out how did You open the transport again The other button is there that's the Tricky part you have to know roughly Where the button is so you're actually Pressing the button Through the chargepoint port lid yeah so Nice and nice and you see okay if I if I Own this car or if I use it on regular Basis I will know that the button is Here and then yeah that's way smoother

Yeah but okay look There's another party trick here okay Here we have a big big trunk 12 volt Outlet there 15 amp fuse we have this Magnet things yeah yeah it's like this Is this is cool man you take it out It's like a strap and it's it's fitted With magnets and the point is that you Put your grocery bags there and then you Snap it on ah look at that but look here So we have nice light here I like it we Have nice like unfortunately we can't See this at night but this one is a Portable Wait how is this again it was a portable It was a portable flashlight but how do You take it off wait I have to ask isn't It Look at this This is so cool what's wait um how do You turn it on You want to press something here Um You have different modes supposedly look At this for emergency you can have red Light Or you can You can have the flashing light here you See Well okay it's kind of hard to see I Have to change the exposure you can see What's going on it is actually flashing Between white and red light And then you can also

Have a continuous light this is super Cool I mean why not okay let's snap it On you see and it has some I can use the I can use it like you see it has some Interface there so I think once you want You to snap it back in yeah then it goes Back to the normal weight so we have it On this side what about this one not This one okay I see yeah it's only one Side but that is a very cool feature why Didn't anyone else think about this And then the touring has this one okay I Think the subwoofer should be down here Emergency kit okay Yeah this is so just like in the regular 85 oops Yeah I need to explore Everything of course just like the Regular 85 looks like this What like is this Um Yeah so and also so you see you can take This one out and you can actually get More space in the trunk or you can lower It like this right Um and then this one can also be taken Out and low you'll see so I'm just Making big mess in there oh so yeah But yeah so there you see the tour and Also yeah the touring has this one Like this but okay so what they said is That let me let me close this for now Neo they change The touring uh everything behind The B pillar has been changed

So that means that the front and the Driver's position The height everything here in the front At least it's the same but then the back Should have more space and it still has All the same specs you know tall Capacity 2400 sorry 1 400 kilogram Um you get the I'll show you here Yeah this one has the ventilated seats But the new feature here is that there Is an extra button not sure which one it Is For Oh wow that is proper Chinese massage Right there you can actually see the Seeds bulging out in some of the German Car is like a cat massage you're like Huh are you in yet are you in that but The Chinese massage especially the one In Chi in so the one in Neo is really Really good oh I can't wait to test out This car but okay let me see now all the Small details take out that one oh look At this look at this huh They also use lots of recycled materials In here okay so wow yeah when I sit in Here by the way I feel like we are still sitting in a Sedon or something we're not sitting in SUV so we have that sporty low ride low Center gravity uh but still with a space In the back So other than that

Um Yeah I have to start to start driving Soon we are still on this event on all The other guys they already left well That's the last car Oh yeah Oh yeah And then okay rails 75 kilogram to roof Load So yeah let me play with this one since The last thing I want to check so you See here do we have another SDS button Okay but you have to go in here maybe Oh yeah okay we have the gnome you can Actually get the one without the know me Head also that is just like a Halo no me Um but that one is extra uh of course This car is loaded but let's see now if I can find it Okay I found it I was just being a noob Um here we have it of course it's on the Doors windows lock yeah I have to switch To English also So if you have it in transparent now we Have an auto so in transparent it should Slowly change but it takes a while So I'm not sure what what mode we were In previously but it's it it looks a bit Dark compared to the side windows and Even the the rear windows and seems to Be slightly tinted yeah the rear windows Also has some tin compared to the front Because in Norway you cannot tint the Front windows

So but this takes a while so this is Actually a small minus compared to Porsche or BMV or or even the id7 that That instantly changes it but on the Other hand it doesn't make it diffuse it Actually you can still see through it But it's just darker so that is a bonus Of course Um I have to wait and see what happens But then seems like it's just Transparent and dimming that's it there Is no uh no adjustment gradient between That so unlike some of the other systems That also allows you to choose the Transparency level but okay I think I Will just start driving now I have to do The driving test but this is a quick Intro to what it looks like here and I Can quickly also show you in front it Should be the same as the 85s at least Here we have more Headroom space but Okay so a quick intro and then I will Jump over to the driving impression

Electric City Vehicles Cars Power

Choosing Electric City Vehicles

EVs offer many benefits, but they also bring new questions. You’ll need to figure out how and where you’ll charge, how much it will cost to own, and what tax breaks you may qualify for. Deciding which EV is right for you can feel as daunting as choosing the next big car.

Cars Power

Electric cars are small, quiet, and nimble, making them perfect for city driving. They’re also easy to park and have the added convenience of automatic parking.

While most EVs are capable of covering most commutes with ease, long-range models can handle longer trips. It’s important to know how much range you need, especially if you live in an apartment or don’t have access to a charging station at work or home. Some EVs, called plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), operate exclusively on electricity until their batteries are near empty, then use gasoline to add range.

If you choose a PHEV, be aware that the energy used to produce electricity varies by region and time of day. Cold weather and accessory usage can reduce an EV’s range significantly, so you’ll want to be familiar with EPA estimates. You can also visit the Electric Power Research Institute Consumer Guide to find more tips for maximizing your EV’s range.
