With Tesla is that you can actually have The backup camera and the side repeaters But especially backer camera can be up All the time but at high speed many cars Will only use the backup camera until Around 10 20 kilometers per hour and Then it shuts down so this one is very Nice you can observe what's going on Here I was one time I made a small Mistake about I think it was the nose Wheel and then I saw it in the camera oh And then they went out and fixed it Before disaster happened So all right now we're gonna look what The consumption will be so far it's 409 Watt hour per kilometer oh legit it's Like a freaking Neutron without a Trailer And then how is it to drive with the Trailer well I don't feel it at all well Except for that it makes the car talk a Little bit Yeah but other than that you Know the model y performance has so much Power I don't remember how much it was I think it was over 600 horsepower so When you accelerate You don't feel anything same with when I Had Optimus Prime uh you know my model X Even that if I had heavy load Optimus Could pull over 2 000 kilograms no Problem really I could overtake fossil Cars when going up a mountain and while Pulling a boat and trailer weighing over 2 000 kilograms so yeah electric cars

Kilowatt hour loss here what is that Loss well it's heat loss because we were Discharging at the higher rate than Normal so Um yeah when you're driving with trailer You have to take this one in account but Uh or you can just let the car calculate For you so yes Um this one shows wow look at that 204 Yeah I guess you can go two more Kilometers because I'm going to do a Quick man here so 143 1.4 kilowatt hour I think that's roughly four more Kilometers so that means you can go Well almost 210 kilometers that is very Nice I think actually this car has Slightly better range than my previous Model X simply because that model X was So thirsty so even though it had a Bigger battery Uh because the car itself consumes Slightly more energy just to drive it And then when you hook on a trailer The consumption was actually uh also Kind of high so Um I remember that during summer I would Usually average around 350 watt hour per Kilometer but with a way smaller trailer So yeah I think this is it this is nope Oh I set my headlights manual tone but Uh yeah I changed let me see uh here Yeah okay okay are you happy now yes Yeah okay but look The trail is humongous you know my
Previous trailer was something like this Yeah roughly this size so so this is Actually very impressive but okay yeah You only get 200 kilometers of range Instead of 500 like like you would get If you don't drive a trailer But Keep in mind that we have the dry kind Of slow so the the 200 kilometer stretch We draw took roughly two and a half Hours so at least as for me I wouldn't Mind taking a break after two and a half Hours but this is of course the first Leg and then eventually uh depends how Long you want to charge but the Following legs usually you don't charge 100 but then You would usually maybe drive I mean Charge to let's say 70 80 percent for Trailer you don't want to charge for Only 60 but Um And then you have maybe a roughly 150 Kilometer or roughly two yeah almost two Hours of driving before you charge again So yeah this is actually one Um downside with with EV and trailer Which is that for for driving when you Drive without trailer then you can't Keep up with the car because the car Will have so good range roughly 400 500 Kilometers of range and then when you Are charging uh you're probably eating Or doing something anyway right but then
It will be a completely different story When you are traveling with the trailer Because then you consume so much more Energy but you still charge at the same Rate so then for trailer driving a lot Of like if you drive with trailer a lot Then battery swap would make sense or Uh Uh hydrogen I'm just kidding you know if If we actually had a mirror that could Hold this it would probably consume Massive amount of energy and I I don't know a quick month I think the Mirror will cost something like one euro Per kilometer yeah so uh what but um at Least we try it now with the model X Wait sorry with the model Y and okay Um I talked to Marcus and we're gonna do It one thousand kilometer challenge with Trailer just have to find a suitable car It should be a Tesla Model well it Doesn't have to be a Tesla but at least We can do it with Tesla but it should be A model y or model 3 long range because They can charge the 250 kilowatt so We'll see I already done some rough Calculations that a trailer will do one Thousand kilometer challenge in roughly 14 hours one of the reasons why it takes So long is because You're legally you have to drive it at 80 kilometers per hour if you're on the Drive legally but we'll probably cruise At 88-90 to uh not annoy too many
