You might assume that maybe the then it Will stop charging some cars will do That but no it's still charging let me Show you again here you see we are Pulling I mean we are inputting 500 watt Into the battery just like previously But now we're only pulling 700 watt from The socket or from the wall So we want to actually keep preheating This is a good feature like I mentioned It's a nice feature some cars will not Do this it will suddenly pull from the Battery which is a bad thing especially During winter you want to maximize the Range but yeah so now I fire up HVAC and You will see him that it will start Ramping up again But I also noticed that I've tested a Bunch of ide3s in the past And normally or depending on which time I test it sometimes I get 55 kilowatt Hour from it sometimes I get 57 kilowatt Hour from it it could be that sometimes I don't bother recharging it back to Until it stops and that could be why so But we can't sit around too long because There's some massive rain coming This afternoon in about seven hours and I might need around seven hours to Finish this test so Um we just have to bear in mind that it Didn't well Finish charging even though the screen Says it

So we are just flowing with the traffic Flow right now and this is a highly Realistic test just like always Uh we are now at McLeod I pull out here Just in time because I realized that Okay we have seven percent left 29 Kilometers of range left and we are 29 Kilometers away But the thing is that with ID3 or the ID Software you cannot trust this because If you look here we have supposedly 3.6 Kilowatt hour left but I've seen it when I did other tests is that you actually Don't get 3.6 you might have only 3.5 3.4 kilowatt hour left and if you look At 3.4 versus 29 kilometers left that Means we have to average less than 120 Watt hour per kilometer That's that ain't gonna happen buddy not Today so and I can show you that the Problem also is that if you look here I Clicked on the robot yeah here uh if I Sort this one wait uh how do I stop it How is it again Uh How is this I always miss CL I always Yeah I'm just I'm not used to the ideas Of it look at that Here we have Chargers yes but if I keep Driving here If I keep going this way you will see That there are no Chargers here but Except for the one Where is it again there's supposed to be

So yeah how well did this ID3 do it well It was pretty good the consumption was Very low that's good but look at that Compared to score the Enya Coupe which Is overdrive and bigger the consumption Was only five what a per kilometer Higher so maybe it's because this ID3 is Not that aerodynamic versus I'm not sure But Um another versus model y Rebel driveway Okay I haven't tested okay well I have Actually tested model 3 whatever yeah That's that one yeah That one didn't have the original rims So it wasn't that efficient you see but Even that one had 54 kilowatt hour whoa That one even had more range than the ID 3 here and then what else is again well Versus model y regular dry tested Recently it went the same route but I Managed to go all the way to Tongan Which I couldn't go here because for Some reason see that we got less than 55 Kilowatt hour from this battery and even If we sat here long enough I mean or sat Home long enough until it finished Charging maybe we would have gotten 55 Kilowatt hour which is what I got from The range test so I'm not sure if I can Get 56 57 kilowatt hour from this Battery not but I'm going to do a little Charging test Yeah and see maybe yeah we should test That also as the end of the video but
We're gonna see how many kilowatt hour We can actually get reported by car Scanner because we're not going to drive It down to 0 again that would take too Long but yeah so now you guys have seen It that if you drive if you actually Follow the speed limits in Norway we can Actually go quite far with this ID three But you know this got me thinking I should start doing Um these Thunder driving also during Winter because okay I've done it in Summer which has a nice weather and I Try to run only fans and stuff like that Today was simply too hot for only fans But I should also try it winter but then In Winter we will of course have a Normal heat in the car but then we will See how efficient are the cars during Winter versus Summer and when we when we Also drive slow so I think that's it We're going to try it out yes but before That we have to wait for the charting And then we have to check out how much Can we actually get It's now 9 21 in the morning next day And it finished charging during the Night 200 percent says charging Successful so we can see here on the the Easy app that let me see you see the Graph here It finished charging supposedly there 418 at night then it went down to zero So it's been sitting here for about five
Hours but the strange thing is here look Here so huh What's up with this really so you're Gonna compare okay this is what it looks Like there's a screenshot here yeah this Is what it looked like yesterday Versus now See the number okay it's supposed to be 100 but we had higher stereo charge BMS We had higher energy content Uh Okay I actually don't know what's going on so Let me show you something here so you See now we are pulling power we are Plugged in uh you can see there that we Are in fact plug in But it's it's done pulling power from The battery not from the plug so I'm Going to try something if I do this Okay I'm not sure which way you want to go Let's say you want to heat up Okay Let me see let me check here To see if anything is going on here uh Is it pulling let me see if I do this Maybe maybe if I decrease the Temperature inside let's try to cool Down cabin see if I can trigger some AC Here There okay AC is active yeah this time Though It's um it is pulling for the plug
But I could I could have spawned it it Did not do that uh last morning Because uh last morning I had 99 when I Arrived not 100 percent But let's check out now if we go back Here yeah see now it's pulling 1.3 Kilowatts So he's doing the same thing as Yesterday huh It's strange it seems to be more or less Oh I know I know Um maybe it's different when we are Plugged in here versus okay let me try Something Okay so I locked the car we're outside Now but I still have this stuff So yeah now suddenly it's pulling 800 Watt from the EC charger it's charging a Little bit but I want to test something Here this is what I did yesterday I went Into the app when I was inside Okay wait for the update there and then The activated AC I'm just gonna try to Go a little bit cooler now because we Just want to see what happens if you Cool down the cabin All right it says it's active let's go Back to easy This one and see what happens now It should try to cool down the cabin Wait can you see some numbers there Sorry for the reflection Now this is really strange
Oh puckster just arrived the male woman Oh huh oh The OBD the OBD adapter was on anyway so The OBD out there is connected Um and then the alarm went off yeah it's A safety feature when you connect to OBD You can maybe oh but uh Yeah there's a Boxster that's a that's a Male woman she's very core interested I Think she she is in love with um but Okay yeah so it's a safety feature Um OBD adapter active while the car is Locked then you could potentially maybe Break into the car by sending up these Signals that's why the alarm went off Okay maybe my experiment then failed now Yeah whatever okay but still the main Problem is that It's not as high as it could have been Um earlier before when I did some other Tests it was higher it was all it was Almost 56 57 kilowatt hours so it's a Big mystery why it doesn't charge to That high before and now we're down to 99 Okay whatever wait how many percent does It say in the car then let me check Okay yeah there's a little bit Misreporting between uh car scan and This one but okay Um yeah so that's the conclusion is that I'm not sure how the heck I'm supposed To get 57 kilowatt hour uh like I've Done before in uh ID cards and you say
Oh maybe we have degradation right but It's uh only 3 000 kilometers on the Odometer and I was the one adding uh Over 1500 kilometers here you have Actually more more like 2 000 kilometers So when I pick up the car it was only at 1500 kilometers roughly
