Features in here they haven't spent that Much on the dashboard but okay let's Show you what is available here so this Is the dashboard you want to be using While you're driving but now that we're Stationary it doesn't show that much but If you swipe here you see navigation but It's weird Because if you're trying to Navigate something on the car screen it Doesn't share it with the test logic So I think the way it's supposed to work is That you go to Google Maps and then you Navigate Somewhere and you share it with the Dashboard but then it doesn't work So I'm like okay whatever The navigation in Tesla is already pretty good There's no Need to use this Uh if we swipe over Here here we have the pretty cool view Of what's going on with kilowatt going Where So this is nice because um Sky Tesla doesn't show this And also if you Use sexy button they also have a Dashboard but uh like I mentioned they Haven't put too much work into it They Also doesn't show you how much is going To whatever So if I crank up the heater A bit then the the climate controller Should ramp up See nice Especially after You supercharge it should be quite low Because it's heat scavenging And then Other and then seat heater Let's try how Much is the seat heater pulling here h 200 W Well that's very efficient isn't

It and then what about the battery Heating let me see if I can navigate to A fast charger somewhere Supercharger Clamp But not sure if I need to put the car Drive Or the battery heating Okay then bam 2.4 It should ramp Up after a while Oh yeah So this is Interesting Yeah Huh it's pu p p p p p p P p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p P p p p p p p p p p p p p p pushing Power to the motors Yes this is how it Has always worked with Tesla at least From Model 3 and so on from 2019 is that It actually pushes uh well huh what Happened to The Interesting only uh a little bit of Power to the front and the rear motor And then it scavenges heat from it and Then heat the battery But it it should Also use um heat pump I think it uses Mostly heat pump now You can hear the Heat pump keeps ramping up now because It's more efficient and it figures out That okay it doesn't need to heat up That aggressively Wonder if I buckle up Now if it if that will make any Difference in there if I want To No wait It it stopped What When I put the coin parked then it goes Up again Okay But yeah 4 kW All right But um while this is going ongoing now

It says 10° C in the battery This screen Though is a bit small When you have it You have this whatever phone I'm using You know quite new Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus When I have it behind the screen Here at least me who's getting old I Have problems seeing all the letters That clearly Wish it would wish the Everything was a bit Larger Maybe don't need to have all Those uh icons Whatever I'm just Nitpicking But Um this tab is supposed to be for drag Race testing or a lot acceleration Testing It's your geforces and it Records the 0 to 100 times and so on and Quarter mile and it says that power is Limited 70% Yeah we are at the 46% Battery now and the battery is at 12° C It's heating up quite Quickly But yeah I see also so it has The auto highbeam icon there So you can Also use this of course while you're Driving So yeah that that's why it makes Sense to have the high beam there Because it's not available here not Visible here but also visible in this Screen And then here we have even more Useful information about okay this is Model Y performance Oh really wow it is Okay I didn't know Uh it's from Gigabo Berlin You see we have the anometer There You can look at the car here What Kind of stuff you have supercharger axis

Okay Uh Battery Um so interesting It will Estimate how much degradation we have 8.1% Max capacity And now the capacity H And then buffer below zero Yeah The Imbalance is 8.1 mil This is pretty cool Information And then if we go to energy Here you can see how much we have Charged kilowatt hour and then wasted uh Charge energy I'm not sure how it counts 16% sounds like a lot I wonder if it Counts when we also heat up the battery Right yeah maybe it counts how much goes From the plug and then how much actually Goes into the battery and then Everything else is counted as lost Right okay Lifetime driving Okay cool Uh So we have lots of information here and Also here we have some settings Uh I Could show you all this I could quickly Show you what's Available So yeah know interface uh you Have different themes here you know Um Oh you can use it in header display mode Also Wow Okay cool May maybe at night in The daytime it wouldn't be powerful Enough And then here or you can al also Update the software This is very Important And you can reset the Transmitter You can choose a different Transmitter also And then uh okay here's More settings But here you can even Enable uh yeah for nerds Enable it for Nerds And then you get more information

Than if you're not a nerd you can hide Some information So really cool But okay Let's test how it works when I'm driving Then All Right Interesting In this dashboard it Will show you horsepower used Wonder if you can change it to Kilowatt if that matters Let's Go Also yeah very nice that you see the Blinker Okay autopilot On Wait very nice to have that panel There Yeah maybe I need to adjust this Slightly there Okay but let me see the Other tabs here So yeah Yeah So now the Battery heating is still on You can also See it on this screen You see on the top There we have the the three bacons There Yeah And then okay if you go to this tab Again you can see what's going on now Maybe I should stop preheating because Now the uh the preheating power is Affecting uh the other stuff Also Okay Okay now it stopped preheat Yeah there you go Took a a few seconds And preheating stopped Now you can see It's running the rear motor So you know I mean it's kind of my Tesla that I've Been using for a while It's like a nerdy Thing Well I mean that's that's ultra Nerd Then you're really nerd right but Here you you can have this kind of Useful dashboard for

Speedometer and then uh you still see Some useful information right so just a Little bit nerd not super nerd but yeah I can see that it's trying to uh use the Rear motor for the most efficiency but If you go faster then accelerate harder Then it kicks in the front motor Also and if you go to this tab This Might be the tab you want to be looking At So here we see uh motor power and Yeah Okay Okay This is nice 80 km/h But Um hm speedometer I mean I mean speed Limit uh info is not here Then you have To look at the car Screen But I mean I'm not sure if that Information is shared via the canvas Possibly not I would never heard of it Before So Uh yeah uh range projected 43 Kilm Okay this is weird because I think It because we we consume so much for Preheating that the the range projector Has been crazy low or the consumption Been really high So that's why it needs To drive a bit for for readjusting it It's going up now the range projected And the rate that is but at least there Is some kind of rated yeah range there And then there's also a trip meter Okay Not sure how that works And uh if you Can reset everything There and how much energy we spend So This is very nice that you have this

Dashboard And then when it comes to Navigation well it just shows you that You're traveling on this road Not that Useful Uh this must be the most uh Useless feature on this uh dashboard So Yeah I might want to use this dashboard For the most part So you see the speed Though or this sometimes when you are Preheating or maybe Charging and then this for some kind of Launch test but maybe not that much use In day daily drive because it doesn't Well it shows you kilometers per hour But it's smaller in the middle there And Then here just a settings anyway So uh Yeah I mean it's a it's a nice addition Because to be honest uh sexy button okay You get that if you get sexy button or You can the commander or whatever or Stocks or knob you already need the app And then you already get the dashboard There and you can use that dashboard of Course but it doesn't have all the the Different info that you get in this Dashboard So uh and also if you want this thing Here you need to buy additional hardware So if if you already have the sexy Buttons then you could just use the sexy Button app and you get at least the Speedometer You can mount it in the Behind the steering wheel and you get Some kind of dashboard right so but it's Still nice addition I like it I like

This uh this dashboard and just just the Fact that you get all the updates It Doesn't go brick on you if there if Tesla changes some of the signals in the Canvas And yeah so it will still work And you'll still get lots of new Features Let me go over here Oh wait Wait Didn't I use blinkers Okay Wait there's some stuff moving Around in the back There So yeah Oh yeah The blinkers there They uh appear there Yeah Nice nice nice I like it There's some uh some help some Safety features of a division Call If I go to this screen again this Screen here Huh can I see if the Autopilot is On wait why is the not showing there the Top left there sorry lower Left Okay there is no indication that Autopilot is on right now That is a Small bummer I think sexy button even Shows you That So but this could be updated of Course Yeah test logic And of course if You don't have any sexy button Uh products installed in your car then You can get this instead But I mean I Highly recommend to get sexy button Because it does so much It makes a Tesla So much better when you have It Yeah Okay But Oh Oh Oh Ah that's um Well there's a Ford pickup truck Started Noticing Ford pickup trucks now What

Kind of Ford is that looks like Looks Like it's smaller than the F-150 Yeah there's no indication Huh no No no Okay there No indication over the Autopilot or or adapt the cruise control Or set speed on The Yeah I'm looking for Wait Huh Um it just shows you current speed It Doesn't show you the set speed on cruise Control or Autopilot the dashboard H So can they fix this hopefully they Can right cuz I feel like it's lacking a Few basic features So if I end up having To look in the Tesla main screen anyway What is the point of this dashboard well The dashboard shows you more information That you need to dig into either the Service menu or get some test my Tesla Whatever So in that regard yes it's Still useful but Uh maybe uh need some improvement And of Course I have the newer software here Newer software uh and also updated Everything the the uh firmware and the Test logic So when you buy this product You get this little box here And well This is for uh preh Highland There's Also support for Highland but here you Connect it like you know it from before In the back here you know in uh Model 3 And Model Y preh Highland And then this Is the control unit or what they were uh

I was about to say call it the commander But this is what uh does the magic and Then communicates wirelessly to your Phone So yeah I don't know I haven't Done my homework but what is this uh but Uh you just use these And this is Probably some additional connectors you Can use And then in here in the box you Also get this tool for popping out the Panel in the Back Yeah So yeah and also some uh Yeah There's a there's a phone holder here That comes with it So but I didn't uh Need it since I already had a nice phone Holder in the car So I mean overall I Feel like it's a it's a nice product Just maybe needs a bit of update if it's Possible to show even more information The stuff I want to know or maybe that Was not the point with this You're Supposed to look at the main screen Anyway and then look at the the the test Logic screen or whatever you have here And yeah and then you at least you have The possibility to go for a bigger phone If you think this is too small for you Not sure if you should be using an iPad On the dashboard or not but at least the The sky is the limit right the Possibilities are endless So yeah nice Product and you can use my uh uh Discount link to get 10% discount if you Order this So that's going to be for now Hope you guys enjoy this video As always
