Lucid Air

The interior of the Lucid Air is a blend of luxury and minimalism, combining the simplicity of a Tesla with the materials and opulence of a Mercedes. Designed with easy-to-use controls and bright colors, the Lucid’s interior is as modern as it is elegant. The 1,111 hp of power delivered to the front wheels is immediate, and the car’s mechanical independent suspension prevents squats and dives during hard acceleration.

The new electric vehicle features dual motors and a motor-differential unit that produces three times the power of competitors. The car weighs only 167 pounds, and is small enough to fit into a roll-aboard suitcase. The battery is a conventional lithium-ion unit designed to reduce weight, dimensions, and cooling needs. Because of its aerodynamics, the Lucid Air is the most efficient large electric sedan available, according to the EPA.

Lexus RX

The next-generation Lexus RX has arrived in the market, with new paint colors and stand-alone fog lights. The RX’s interior is both stylish and comfortable, with good fit and finishes, and high-quality materials and attention to detail. The cabin has soft faux leather and other pleasing textures. And it’s not just looks that have made the RX a winner in the electric vehicle category.

In addition to the LF-Z Electrified Concept, Lexus’ new SUV will be powered by its own Direct4 EV drivetrain. This hybrid system will deliver luxury on par with Lexus models, and use dual electric motors in the front and rear. Both electric motors will be capable of 201 horsepower and 221 pound-ft of torque. The Lexus RX will be roughly the same size and weight as the current Lexus NX compact crossover.

Audi A6 e-tron

The new Audi A6 e-tron electric vehicle concept was introduced at the Shanghai Motor Show. It looks very similar to the current A7 Sportback but is an entirely electric vehicle. It uses the PPE modular electric vehicle platform, developed by Porsche and Audi. This platform is capable of achieving 270 kW charging speeds. Audi claims this is faster than Tesla’s Supercharger. If that is true, then Audi is well on its way to making a mass-market electric vehicle.

The exterior of the Audi A6 e-tron concept is quite unique. While it doesn’t prelude a production electric vehicle, it features a curved grille with deep air intakes. Its headlight bezels are flat, emphasizing the horizontal alignment of the body. The interior is reminiscent of the Audi e-tron concept, but it has been designed to look like a real car.

Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is one of the top electric vehicles on the market today and has just been awarded the title of Best Used Family Electric Car by the Carbuyer Car of the Year Awards. These awards recognize the best cars for sale in the UK and judge them not just on specific features but also on their overall package. To be shortlisted for the award, vehicles must impress the judges in specific areas, such as cost of ownership, safety and performance.

The base model Nissan LEAF is practical for most people. The base model is equipped with a single electric motor and a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery, which generates 147 horsepower. A stronger version has dual electric motors and a 62 kWh battery, which provides much more power and a longer driving range. The base model Leaf gets 111 miles per gallon (MPGe) on the highway, while the 62 kWh variant delivers 104 miles per gallon of gasoline.

Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+

The Mercedes-Benz EQS will be the world’s first electric vehicle, with production expected to begin in 2022. It will feature rear-wheel steering, though it doesn’t provide any extra stability and will feel smaller when pulling a U-turn. The EQS also has 10 degrees of opposite-phase rear steering, and it will have a built-in creep system that slows down the car when the driver lifts off the brake pedal. Fortunately, this creep feature can be turned off, but that will make it feel more like a conventionally powered car.

The EQS comes with a 10-year, 155,000-mile battery warranty, although this could be reduced in the future. Another downside is that the battery can quickly deplete, so owners should limit their use of massaging seats and the HVAC. However, EQS 450+ electric vehicles will have ample range to last for several hundred miles. This makes them a more practical choice than hybrids.

Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is the smallest and most affordable electric car made by the company. The Model 3 has recently been updated, adding an improved interior, increased range on a full charge, and more standard features. The Model 3’s price remains the same at $A60,900, but with minor upgrades like a faster processor for the infotainment system. In addition to these upgrades, the Model 3 has a comfortable interior and comes with Autopilot, the company’s self-driving system.

The Tesla Model 3 will be available in three trim levels when it launches in 2022. The base model, with rear-wheel drive, will start at $44,990. The next two are called Long Range and Performance. Prices are subject to change depending on the model and location. However, the Model 3 will likely have the highest market share in the United States, beating the Ford Mustang and Kona Electric, which start at $34,000.
